We offer stylishly-appointed accommodation a short drive to central Rotorua and all the major sights. We have wide views of the surrounding hills and lake. The self-catering apartment is downstairs and has 2 double bedrooms, a living area/kitchenette with sofa bed, and bathroom/laundry. The 2 spacious ensuite B&B rooms are upstairs, accessible by stairs or lift. We have heating/air conditioning.

Annie and Dale consistently provide friendly, thoughtful and exceptional service. By far one of the loveliest couples you will ever meet. Could not recommend high enough.

Beachfront apartments located on Marine Parade in Mt Maunganui. Plenty of space in fully self-contained 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with 2 bathrooms, full kitchens, and laundry. All linen supplied. Secure undercover parking for 2 cars, and lift access to all floors. Free wifi. Wonderful sea views from 3rd and 4th floors, with huge private balconies. Quiet location close to restaurants, shops, parks, airport, golf courses, and right across the road from the awesome surf beach.

Reviewed By PhillipB294Easy check in and great parking. What a joy with luggage trollies available to cart luggage up in the lift. We had a 3 bedroom top floor beach front apartment with fabulous views out over the beach and ocean. The apartment was a great size with cupboards stocked with all the plates and glasses etc. for a long term stay. We ate in every night and had a ball playing cards and watching the ships coming and going. The swimming pool was just warm enough for a good swim and my wife enjoyed relaxing in the hot pool on a couple of occasions. We are organizing to meet our friends here again early next year as we really enjoyed our time there. A special thanks to Toni for her effort in sending my phone charger back to me. It was greatly appreciated.

Reviewed By KiwiViajeroI stayed her on a Saturday night in May 2022. I didn't plan to use the carpark, so I parked my car on the street just a block from the hotel. There were parking spots right outside but they were taken. The street outside the hotel was relatively quiet but further up there were plenty of restaurants, Starbucks etc. The reception was closed (roughly 6pm on a Saturday night), but I called the number from the pad outside and someone buzzed me in. I collected my key from inside the hotel. That worked fairly well, but I wouldn't want to arrive in the middle of the night! The hotel was tidy and the room was large and comfortable. The wifi worked well. I would be happy to stay here again.

We were made to feel so warm and comfortable from the minute we walked through the door until the morning we left, sharing delicious food and travel stories by the fire in between heading out & exploring everything Rotorua has to offer, which Joan knows all about and is happy to advise on. The space available for guests is everything you need - clean and spacious with super comfy beds. We loved being 5 mins out of town and being in such close proximity to mountain biking and hot pools right on your doorstep. This is the sort of place you really want to keep adding on one more night, and we would love to be able to go back some day soon, but in the meantime would happily recommend to all of our friends. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable stay :)

Wonderful Stay - Highly recommend- Will Stay Again
Reviewed By GvipinHad opted for 3 bedroom lodge as it had one bathroom and two toilets instead of one toilet in chalet as would be better for us - two couples travelling together and were not disappointed. Nice layout and excellent outdoor seating on the deck over the canal and was cool even in hot summer may be because it was away from city and facing water / lake. Heatpump/air conditioner in lounge and provided fan in bedroom which were upstair and were comfortable. Will highly recommend for all who do not mind staying away from city ( appox 20mins drive) . They do provide kayak, if interested from just outside your lounge. Resort has swimming pool, spa pool, tennis court and a small cafe/restaurant - did not try either services but enough activity, if interested. If going for chalets - should opt only if they are lake facing ( saw from outside and would be my first choice) otherwise lodge is a better option. Tip : Opt for chalets only if it is direct lake facing and do not mind one bathroom otherwise opt for lodges though smaller than chalets but better layout. No grocery shop nearby so come prepared and lodge/ kitchen fully equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. How can I forget our Host Sheree who gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful, even going out of the way for early check-in. Out of different oprtors in same resort like ramada, will chose twinlake Villas only for the host Sheree for the personal professional service. Only minus point was heaps of duck poo or was it dog poo on the lawn in front of the lake / near lake facing chalet that was all over so was unable to walk on lawn and enjoy the amazing scenic view and surrounding but think that has multiple operators managing the resort that part being no one's direct responsibility is been ignored but will still highly recommend this resort to all be it couple or families with kid.

Absolutely shocking!!!!
Reviewed By Hannah ABooked in online using hotel.com(have used before without issue) went to show up at the Motel only to be told (I think- not a lot of English spoken) that our booking was cancelled, as someone had booked the last room 4 minutes before we did!!! Which I get double bookings can happen (having worked in the industry myself I get it) what I don’t Understand is that they had processed the payment, so with $650 taken from the account and no accomodation at 7pm on a Friday night before a long weekend and staff that didn’t understand or speek a word of English trying to get it refunded turned into an nightmare... After over an hour of trying to talk to the owner of this place, the desk clerk who just kept smiling and saying “im sorry, we have no rooms” and the hotel.com people (who were really nice, and tried to be as helpful as they could) we were left with no where to stay and all other accommodation booked out for a long weekend away. So may want to look into hiring staff that speak enough English to not make a bad situation worse, and check how many rooms you have before advertising them online, or at least sort out some kind of refund policy so when this does happen, you don’t leave people stranded!!!

Wonderful B&B close to Bayfair
Reviewed By paullegateI booked a one night stay at Seaside B&B, I arrived by Intercity Bus into Bayfair which was running behind schedule, unbeknown to me Marion the host had driven out to collect me at the scheduled arrival time which I later found out when I arrived at the B&B. I had such a lovely welcome from Marion who made me feel at home immediately and offered me a cup of tea. The single room was ideal with a comfortable bed, there a clock radio and TV set up with Netflix. It was hot during my stay but the fan kept the room quite cool. There was a good amount of storage space for my belongings. The bathroom and toilet were along the hallway and as with the rest of the property immaculately clean. I was offered a full breakfast but all I wanted was toast, there was plenty on offer if I had chosen the full option. The property is a few minutes from the beach, about a 10min walk to Bayfair. There is also a regular bus service from the adjacent bus stop into Mt. Maunganui but I chose to walk partly along Oceanbeach Road and on the beach which took about 1h15 and I got the bus back. Marion kindly drove me to Bayfair for my bus to Palmerston North. Seaside B&B is a wonderful place to stay, unfortunately I was only there for one night. Marion is such a caring host and made me feel so welcome. I want to stay again but I will stay for longer on my next visit.

A blissful stay in Opotiki
Reviewed By KiwiTravellers2015My wife and I have just enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at Kowhai Rest with amazing hosts Kevin and Vicki. Lovely comfortable bed with or own lounge, spotlessly clean, fabulous breakfast every morning, including top coffee, all wrapped up with their great hospitality. Loved just chatting with them and learned a great quick orange cake recipe from Vicki, she is a whiz in the kitchen. The lovely grounds, the fruit trees, the livestock all add to a memorable Opotiki experience. We can thoroughly recommend it
