Omorovicza Boutique & Spa

Steep yourself in the history of Hungary whilst enjoying one of our signature facial treatments in the very place where Omorovicza was born.

Subtly elegant, calm atmossphere, cordial and very professional aesthetician Beata, who expertly performed every step of the treatment - the standout element being the Hungarian face massage. Loved the smell and texture of all the products she used - really liked the Blue Diamond Enzyme Peel, which is gentle enough even for my very sensitive skin. And I was able to buy products in the amount of the cost of my treatment, which is very nice touch. Will definitely come back!

We went to Magnolia Day Spa for a couple’s massage (80min massage + 20min jacuzzi included) and it was an amazing experience for both of us. The spa itself looks realy nice, has a very relaxing atmosphere and it’s right next to the Parliament in central Budapest.

Absolutely great. I have really stiff neck and shoulders and went for the deep tissue massage. It felt very good and hit the right spots. She even gave me some “homework” stretches to do at home. I’d go there again!

I choose a 4 hour package called "The legend of the East" after working a long season on the river boats. It included a body scrub, body mask, full body massage and facial along with tea and fruit. It really was great and I was so well looked after aswell as the spa decorated beautifully. Would definatly recommend and will be back next year.

Thermal Beer Spa

The Thermal Beer Spa is located inside Széchenyi Spa, so you have two options available to enjoy this doubly intoxicating dip. You can either enter the Széchenyi Spa in the usual manner buying a valid ticket (or book online with us for a combined ticket!), then buy the extra ticket for the Beer Spa. Or if you're feeling like you'd prefer just a soak in alcohol-filled tubs, you can enter without going to Széchenyi too. Look out for our hosts wearing green at any of the three entrances to the building & they will be happy to help you with whichever choice. There are six tubs (25 euro each for two people sharing one tub, or 30 euro to have one tub per person), and two people can soak in each of them, so they aren’t only perfect for relaxation but also if you want to do something memorable on a first date!

Reviewed By wefoundtravel - Budapest, Hungary

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Thermal Beer Spa and would recommend this experience to any visitor during their stay in Budapest. There are plenty of thermal baths around the city, however, this place takes it to the next level. Bathing in 36-degree thermal water drawn straight from the source, combined with beer ingredients makes relaxing in the tub a truly unique experience to be enjoyed by anyone! To make it even more exciting, you get to pour yourself unlimited pints of cold Czech beer and nibble snacks to your heart's content. We'd recommend Thermal Beer Spa for couples, friends and groups, especially if you're seeking a unique hangover cure. You don't even need to be a huge beer lover, although if you are, you'll have double the fun. Changing rooms, lockers and showers are available to guests and there is wheelchair access for those needing extra assistance. The staff are super friendly too. They show and explain the ingredients that go into your bath before you hop in, and will even double up as your photographer if you want some great shots of you chilling in beer. Thanks for an awesome experience Thermal Beer Spa

Thermal Lake of Heviz

The lake of Hévíz is the biggest biologically active, natural medicinal water in the world. Its temperature is affected by the combination of cold and hot spring waters coming from underground. The medicinal water breaks out from the spring cave on the surface at the rate of approx. 410 litres per second and with a temperature of 40°C. According to that delivery, the water in the lake changes every three and a half days and keeps uniformly clean.

This place is gorgeous! We loved every second of our time there. For English speakers, it can be a bit confusing so here are my tips: 1. Get there by 10 to ensure a beautiful spot that is right next to the water. 2. Go the right as you enter because that is where it is less crowded and where the jacuzzis are 3. Bring snacks if you are there a long time, though they do have a lovely restaurant 4. Bring your own floatie or rent one for 1000ft deposit 600ft fee 5. Add the “wellness” package. It’s the jacuzzis and saunas and you won’t want to miss those. 6. Stay at least four hours! 7. Bring your own towel 8. ENJOY!!!

I always return with great pleasure to Gyula due to the excellent ,five stars thermal spa only a few kilometers away from the border to Romania ; for people travelling from Romania it is very convenient as it is the nearest after crossing the border ;the general entrance is 6000 HUF ,about 18 Euro including a locker ; an extra 4000 HUF must pay those who want to visit the Aquapalace ,an indoor pool with 3 waterslides and naturally thermal water ,a new building which was completed in 2013; the spa deserves its 5 stars rating due to the various pools with different thermal water,some pools have hotter water ,some pools not so warm; there also is a big pool with waves,an Olympic swimming pool with normal water ; there also is the old indoor pool with thermal water ; there also is a location with a circular pool with jacuzzi and with an artificial circular waterflow which carries you easily around the pool ; in this building there also is the wellness complex with saunas ,massage and fitness; concerning the catering ,there is a great variety of choices ; in the main building at the entrance there is a restaurant with tasty food and a good choice of food; a second restaurant is in the building with the circular pool and the wellness center ; in the summer season all over the compound there are lots of restaurants ,cafes and facilities serving not only a rich choice of main dishes ,but also pancakes,cakes,fried fish,icecream ,coffee and drinks,alcoholic and non alcoholic ;
