Tamina Therme Bad Ragaz

The public thermal health spa is a place for body, mind and soul to regenerate. With a unique thermal water world, a modern sauna area and a comprehensive, top-quality range of wellness facilities and services. Europe's most abundant thermal source originates in the Tamina gorge near Bad Ragaz and was discovered long ago in the early Middle Ages (1242). The Tamina source not only gives its name to the Therme, but also provides the healing thermal water.

Mineralheilbad St. Margrethen

Leave stress behind and immerse yourself at the Mineralheilbad St. Margrethen, gathering new strength and energy. The generous outdoor area of the Mineralheilbad is accessible all year round. Here, guests experience the pleasant effects of the mineral water in massage and whirlpool basins. They enjoy weightlessness in the water current and the beneficial effect of the steam bath. The 36 degrees warm water is the special feature of the Mineralheilbad: It seeps into the ground in Appenzell and flows to the valley underground. On the way to St. Margrethen, it is filtered naturally, simultaneously absorbing valuable minerals and trace elements such as iron, magnesium, calcium or potassium from the stone layers. At the Mineralheilbad, you relax and recover literally in natural mineral water. More nature is hardly possible. In the generous sauna world of the Mineralheilbad, three sauna concepts with various treatments are available.

Santispark

Reviewed By alexandrreview - Brighton, United Kingdom

I come here with my family every time I visit Switzerland and I am always so impressed with the offerings it has in addition to the cleanliness of the facilities. Staff are always very friendly and the electronic system for lockers and checking in and out are seamless. There is honestly something for all members of the family at Santispark. There are slides for young children, for the family and and teenagers with a little more desire for excitement. If you don't like slides, there are two wonderfully heated outside pools and sauna facilities. My only criticism would probably to do with parking as it is situated in a busy, but very well resourced shopping centre, and given the high quality of Santispark, it is no wonder it is popular. Visit in low season, weekdays or mornings/evenings to avoid disappointment. Our particular favourite aspect is the red and blue duo racing slide where you can slide solo or as a pair which dumps cold water onto racer(s) who are behind. It offers a very competitive and interactive element which gives it great rerideability.
