Western Norway (Norwegian: Vestlandet, Vest-Norge, Vest-Noreg) is the region along the Atlantic coast of southern Norway. It consists of the counties Rogaland, Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane, and Møre og Romsdal. The region has a population of approximately 1.3 million people. The largest city is Bergen and the second-largest is Stavanger. Historically the regions of Agder, Vest-Telemark, Hallingdal, Valdres and northern parts of Gudbrandsdal have been included in Western Norway.

Kvamskogen mountains and skieldorado 1 hr from Bergen, 10 -15 min. from Norheimsund/oystese. Alpine and cross-country. Sledging for adults and children, halfpipe slope. More than 30 slalom courses, 3 with floodlights. 17 ski lifts/tows, 3 tows for children. 50 km prepared and marked ski tracks. Ski hire. Starting point for shorter and longer trips rest of the year as well.

Vik Ski Centre is situated in Kalsete in Vik, and it provides facilities for among others biathlon and roller skiing. It has 5 different inruns and jumps (from K60 and down), a children's area, platter lift, a small alpine piste, a lavo and a skistove with gastronomy.

More snow falls in Myrkdalen than almost anywhere else in Europe, which makes our destination very desirable for ski enthusiasts. The ski resort is located in Voss, Western Norway, – only two hours from Bergen International Airport with direct flights from Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London. Myrkdalen is the largest ski resort in Western Norway - with 9 ski lifts; 2 chair lifts, 3 t-bar lifts, 3 disc lifts and a magic carpet. The ski resort offers family-friendly ski areas, over 20 slopes with all levels of difficulty, two terrain parks and great off-piste terrain. This s my first trip with my friends the resort we all are enjoying here the atmosphere is cool the advanture the rooms service is good the foods is amazing very taste, swimming pool the spa and many more we will visit again over here thankyou resort

Harpefossen Skisenter is located at Harpefossen in Hjelmelandsdalen, 11 km from Nordfjordeid. The Ski centre has good lift capacity and groomed slopes. There is also large area for powder runs. Arena for biathlon. 6 lifts, 12 groomed slopes. Arena for country championships in alpine. Night skiing available for alpine and cross country.

Volda Ski Centre

Volda alpine Centre has two lifts - one large and one for the family. The family slope and the main slope both have flood lighting. Well equipped with snow clearing and tracing equipment, snow scooters and 4-wheel terrain cars. Safety is of high importance, and the electronic ticket system is up to date - covering both lifts. 3,5 kms of lighted slope, as well as several prepared slopes in connection with the ski centre. In the heating calefactory you can buy food and drinks. Home made pizza and freshly baked svele are some of the temptations on their menu. Parking conditions are good, and a new road to the ski centre from Helgatun up to Reset was finished 2004/2005. New lift for children and families, prolonged cross country slopes and stadion. Welcome!

The ski lift at Heggmyrane, Hafslo, is one of the longest in the country and will lead to lots of tracks. Ski lifts 1845 meters / 51meters. Ski lift for children 250 meters / 50 meters. Lighting of the tracks 1400 meters. Super G 2600 meters. Fine conditions for snowboarding.
