February 15, 1942 was the fateful day that British Officers surrendered Singapore to the invading Japanese Armed forces. The Battle Box complex located in Fort Canning Park was part of the British Command Headquarters during World War II and provides a very real reenactment of the events that lead up to and during that fateful day. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and provided insight and commentary on the invasion of both Malaya and Singapore. Well worth taking in for both history buffs and those wishing to be better informed on the tragic events that occurred in Singapore during that period.

This is a must if your visiting Singapore, so well organised and amazing views we had a ticket that gave us the option to hop on and hop off whenever we wanted to, the trip to Sentosa island is fantastic, such a beautiful place beaches are stunning and then you have universal studios, what a great day out no matter what age

Went up to the Marina Bay Sands Skypark to admire the view and enjoy a cocktail,following the advise of a colleague Trip Advisor review I purchased the ticket to get access to the Skypark terrace and used the fee paid to pay in part for a cocktail, the view is magnificent and the architecture is amazing. The restriction was to go to the pool area reserved only for guests, Enjoying a cocktail and the view and the people watching was fabulous , the weather was perfect and had a leisurely drink and edamame, there are two bars I spent my time closest to the infinity pool, the oposite side had a restaurant and a bar, Excellent time

This temple has so much to view. From the main hall where there were prayers being read, to the walkways around the temple showing the history, artefacts, statues, and smaller prayer/ meditation areas. There are many floors and even a roof garden where you can ring the prayer bell. It is an incredible place. I’d highly recommend a visit if visiting Singapore. There is a dress code but if you are not wearing appropriate clothing there is access to sarongs and scarfs to use during the visit

The Southern Ridges connect the following parks: Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Hort Park, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve – all of which can delight any walking, photography, and nature enthusiasts. Mount Faber Park is one of the oldest parks in Singapore and probably one of the most popular tourist destination because of the cable car ride. The park is connected to Telok Blangah Hill Park by Henderson Waves Bridge. The park houses the Marina Deck, Palm Plaza, Jewel Box, and Faber Point. The Henderson Waves is my favourite spot. This 899-foot long pedestrian, wooden bridge suspended at 118 feet above Henderson Road, is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It connects Mount Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park. It is called such because the bridge has a waveform made up of seven undulating curved steel ribs that alternately rise over and under its deck. The bridge also has shelters with seats within. The Southern Ridges of Singapore is a “fresh air and greenery” personified. It’s probably all that and more. There is something about its great outdoors that gives walking, running a little kick. So when you find yourself in the Lion City wanting to commune with nature, and you want to feel more alive, energetic and optimistic – walk your way to the Southern Ridges.

We spent a fantastic day at the Gardens by the Bay. The gardens are amazing and offer so much variety. The highlights were definitely the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest Dome and they are definitely worth the entrance fees to see amazing diversity of plants, beautiful garden designs and creative sculptures and structures - especially the carved wood models of dragons, eagles, horses etc. The only slight disappointment for us was the additional charged display called Floral Fantasy. This was a timed entry display where you had to book for an hourly slot and was $20 per person. It literally took us less than 10 minutes to walk around the display - so it was poor value compared to the combined $28 for the much more impressive Flower Dome and Cloud Forest Domes.

Great way to enter Sentosa! This is, to be honest, most eco friendly and sensible way to get to Sentosa, the bridge is connected to Vivocity Shopping mall which is above Harbor Front MRT station thus making it more convenient to get to....Stroll at your convenience, stop along the way for good photo opportunities, there are covered places to get shade from the sun and vending machines along the way.

It felt like being transported to a new world the moment we stepped into the entrance to Cloud Forest. We were greeted by a huge waterfall and imposing structure. Truly beautiful and breath-taking! Make sure you take your time to explore all levels of the cloud forest. Definitely worth it. It provides easily accessible pathways, and the walk can be at a moderate pace to enjoy the surroundings. One can see the flora and fauna of a forest without having to exert the physical exhaustion of climbing a mountain to see the different plants and foliage that exists at different levels of the forest, and the pleasant air-conditioning makes the visit very comfortable.
