This area has everything and is very close to the Macau Ferry Terminal. Our hotel was a 2 min walk from the Sheung Wan subway station which made this an ideal area to call home for 3 nights.

Would definitely recommend visiting PMQ on weekends, cool independent shops, restaurants and sometimes a market inside. Nice place to just grab a picnic table and hang out as well. Lots of other sights along the road as well including a Chinese temple

Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal

Reviewed By mennod385 - Western Cape, South Africa

Travel to Macau on the Turbo Ferry, very comfortable and quick. You should see fishermen in tiny boats along with islands along the route. The ferry terminals are modern, clean and easy to use. Price there and back around R1250 for the 2 of us. The bus is about half the price but takes twice as long and you can get caught up in heavy traffic making the time even longer. Make sure you purchase a return ticket it's cheaper and also that you get the correct info for the return journey times.
