Port Credit

Mississauga Ontario's entertainment hub for shopping, events, music and dining on the waterfront. Our beautiful community offers something for everyone, with a wide array of restaurants, retail stores, services and cafes, all within easy walking distance from each other. We are only 26 km away from Downtown Toronto. The Port Credit Go Station will drop you off right into the heart of our town. Port Credit is always on and always electric!

Port Credit area has 2 water fronts. The port section has the light house on the road and walkway on the shoreline. This also has the Snug Harbour restaurant. But there is a challenge with parking as there's only pay parking on the road. The other one is the J.C. Saddington park is a nice park with plethora of grass areas, seating benches, lake shore and rocky areasto seat and enjoy the views. Also it has 2 large parking areas. Very good view of the sunrise behind the solitary ship on the lake. It is really nice to have a walk during morning or evening.

Benares Historic House

Exquisite estate! A "stunning" heritage home decorated for Christmas. Loved the history and tour given by Christiana. Spanning four generations this Georgian style home had many original furnishings and artifacts to view. A great way to spend a few hours if you love local history and heritage homes. We really enjoyed our visit.

Streetsville is a beautiful little gem in the midst of a big city. It has retained its small town charm with few high rises and lots of quaint shops to check out. Excellent restaurants here. Also a beautiful park down by the river that is fun both summer and winter. Highly recommend visiting!

Port Credit Memorial Arena

Being a 'Hockey Guy,' with over 50 years invested in the game, as a player, coach, fan, hockey dad, pro hockey photographer, and a hockey school instructor, I have been in a lot of hockey rinks. One of the consistently great things to be found at every arena in Mississauga, is the quality of the ice and the cleanliness of the dressing rooms! You can tell that the people that take care of the ice and clean the dressing rooms, take great pride in the quality of their work and they consistently autograph their work with excellence! Port Credit Memorial Arena offers great ice, good sight lines, clean dressing rooms, and ample parking. Highly recommended! Dan Bodanis Mississauga Ontario Canada May 19 2020

Absolute World Towers

Reviewed By burr6013 - Mississauga, Canada

Absolute World Towers is a pair of curvaceous, twisted skyscrapers in the Ontario community of Mississauga. Standing at 170 metres (56 floors) and 150 metres (50 floors), the local landmark contains residential apartments on each of its oval-shaped floors. Fun Fact: Each storey of both towers is incrementally rotated to give both buildings a curved and twisted outline. Neat! Chinese firm MAD led the project after it won an international competition to design the buildings in 2006. Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group completed the unique project between 2007 and 2012. Fondly dubbed the Marilyn Monroe Towers by locals, look for Absolute World Towers at the interchange of Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road (near Square One Shopping Centre) within the five-tower complex of Absolute City Centre.
