Mile-End

Mile-End is a quaint yet contemporary quarter teaming with multiculturalism and filled with cafés, bars, restaurants, specialty grocery shops, boutiques, galleries, hot yoga spots, great bakeries and Montreal-style bagels served fresh and hot. Many of its residents are eco-friendly and artistic -- in summer, it is not unusual to see guitarists strumming a tune.

From the lovely Square St-Louis all the way to Mont-Royal avenue, this is one of the most beautiful street in the city. The architecture, the little gardens, the laid back atmosphere, the lively colors that people use to paint their house...everything makes this place almost magical. Little Italy

A traditional Italian neighborhood located in the northern part of the city.

Great food, wonderful market and lovely art galleries make it one of my favorite places in Montreal. I always hit up the Italian Market on St. Laurent to stock upon cheese and olive oil before coming back to the US.
