The selection of seafood they have is fresh, the owner salvatore comes from cetara, which is the town of the TUNA fishmongers, he has knowledge about it.The place is not far off SALERNO CITY , this was my first time there and i was impressed. Well done !

Assieme alla mia famiglia eravamo a fine luglio a Giffoni in occasione del Festival ed abbiamo cenato più volte con pizza al metro e fritti vari. Dal personale gentile e cortese ai prezzi veramente modici, passando per il cibo di buona qualità . lo consiglio per una pizzata senza pretese.

Unassuming spot on the Lungomare seafront with a superb family team cooking authentic Amalfi dishes with fresh ingredients.Clean environment, outdoor and indoor seating , concise but characterful menu and a place that food lovers will appreciate .Away from the tourist traps of Salerno centre and a seconds walk from the sea .. highly recommended...My first review in months , had to shout about it ...

... but I'll give it my two thumbs-up. Very nice.I visit the Fisciano area and my wonderful colleagues/friends every year or so, and they always pick an outstanding restaurant (and never let me pay of course, Italians are very difficult that way). Pensando a te was as good as last year Ristorante San Pietro, and a lot easier to get to, if perhaps a little less picturesque.Actually the inside of Pensando is very modern-elegant, like a very upper-tier California place. Many tables have a view of the kitchen, in the foodie style, which I like. Most of us had the chef's suggested menu, which I muchly recommend. I'll go especially over the top about the calamari affumicato, worth a visit all for its own sake.

This tiny restaurant is a hefty walk from the city center. The decor makes you feel like you are dining in the owner's home. Enough English spoken to get the main point across, but not fluent. For example we asked if there were any specials other than what was on the menu and the answer was no, but when we saw what the table next to us ordered, it was apparent that there were specials written on a blackboard that we did not see at first, nor could we translate. This was partly our fault for not being more assertive in our request. Owner and staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We had buratta (excellent) eggplant parmasean-delicious, and fish (good, not the best I had while in Italy). For dessert we had pannacotta-thick and creamy-A+ and the house special, also terrific. Dinner was washed down with a pitcher of house white wine. Plates and pitcher were pottery from Veitri Sul Mare, a town we visited the day before. Housemade lemoncello (the best I have had) and mandarincello topped off a wonderful evening.

Upon entering the restaurant one can see the pizza dough being worked by the chef and the fantastic puffy and crusty pizzas coming out of the old oven.It was difficult to choose between the authentic pizzas and the other Italian dishes so I chose both.Amuses on the house were good too: pizetti and bruschetta. After dinner we where all too filled up to try a dessert but the chef decided we should try so they brought us a all a small glass filled with home made fig sorbet. Delicious!If you are ever near this nice restaurant which is situated in an old water mill, then do visit!

Questo posto Lo reputo uno dei preferiti virgola sono una persona molto esigente Amo mangiare bene amò il buono e amo passare una bella serata. Oggi è difficile trovare un posto che mi sorprenda e che mi faccia stare bene o che mi entusiasmi, questo Lo reputo veramente un posto da provare e riprovare . Sono certa che fra 5 anni sentiremo parlare di questo chef un ragazzo giovanissimo che si cimenta Benissimo in tutto , dall 'entre' con diverse stagioni fatti benissimo si sentiva l'olio pulito la frittura asciutta i sapori genuini. Il riso era una delizia per il palato, zucca scampi mazzancolle e caffè equilibratissimo, più ne mangiavi e più lo assaporavi e lo amavi. La carta cambia sempre in modo da proporre diverse specialità mai banali sempre ricercate. Ingredienti rispettati, ambiente sereno e tranquillo, servizio quasi del tutto perfetto , il genio lo vedo in questo chef considerata l'età Sono certa che il meglio deve ancora venire e già siamo sulla buona strada, armonia ed equilibrio rispettato, nulla sovrastava. Sei ancora state pensando se venire o no Sbrigatevi a prenotare e premiate le persone che lo meritano davvero

We were in picentino in june 2014. Good Restaurants are very very hard to find in this area. Price / quality excellent, great service, very good food in cosy restaurant. We paid total 40-50⬠for secondi platti, for two person incl drinks. The restaurant is somewhat hard to find; it is next to a fuel pumpstation.In the garden ( i guess) > 40 chairs , inside upstairs many chairs as wel, as in the ground floor 20-30. Very kind , english spoken bij the boss!
