I rather not share this one, because it would be a pity that it gets spoiled with tourists.BUT then, this place deserves to get mentioned. Simple, good food that tastes great, served with a big smile. Had a generous lunch, fresh and delicate, try it, you won't be dissappointed

We popped in for lunch. Clean and smart looking decor. Very helpful and friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. They are happy to give recommendations and help English speakers with the menu and the options available. We had the Black Angus steak which was outstanding albeit rather expensive. My wife said it was the best steak she has had in her life! We would definitely return. Nice place, nice people, great food.

Lovely hidden gem run by a married couple. Genuine, Italian food in very low prices. Even though the owners don't speak English we still managed to communicate. Definitely recommend a soup as a starter, any pizza and Tiramisu accompanied by a house red wine. We stayed in the town two nights in a row and came back there two evenings in a row!

So our first day in Italy and not only was the weather not quite as bright as we expected, but being a Sunday everything was shut! Drove around to several restaurants all saying they were open just to be disappointed. Luckily we found this little gem! After a slightly panicked look when we asked for a table in English, a lovely gentleman came over to assist us. He was very helpful, offering to translate the menu and recommend choices. I had the best pizza I have ever eaten! Simple, authentic ingredients with fantastic fresh flavours. Would totally recommend and will probably go back before our stay is over!

Our family at here as we had read the tripadvisor reviews and thought that it looked a good bet. We were not disappointed. The steak and grilled meats were especially good. We ordered the house antipasto as a starter. This was a superb collection of hot and cold dishes - sliced meats, fresh vegetables cooked to perfection and local cheese. I would recommend this as a starter. The setting is beautiful with views across the valley. We arrived at 8.30pm and were the only ones there for at least 30 mins, even the staff did not arrive until nearly 9am so don't expect an early evening. If you don't know much Italian (like us!) then the menu may be a bit of a challenge and the waiters don't know much English. It may be worth taking a translation app so that you can work out the dishes. Price was good value at 90 euro for 4 inc a good bottle of wine and 3 courses.

Oggi è difficile trovare un posto che mi sorprenda e che mi faccia stare bene o che mi entusiasmi, questo Lo reputo veramente un posto da provare e riprovare . Sono certa che fra 5 anni sentiremo parlare di questo chef un ragazzo giovanissimo che si cimenta Benissimo in tutto , dall 'entre' con diverse stagioni fatti benissimo si sentiva l'olio pulito la frittura asciutta i sapori genuini. Il riso era una delizia per il palato, zucca scampi mazzancolle e caffè equilibratissimo, più ne mangiavi e più lo assaporavi e lo amavi. La carta cambia sempre in modo da proporre diverse specialità mai banali sempre ricercate. Ingredienti rispettati, ambiente sereno e tranquillo, servizio quasi del tutto perfetto , il genio lo vedo in questo chef considerata l'età Sono certa che il meglio deve ancora venire e già siamo sulla buona strada, armonia ed equilibrio rispettato, nulla sovrastava. Sei ancora state pensando se venire o no Sbrigatevi a prenotare e premiate le persone che lo meritano davvero

We were in picentino in june 2014. Good Restaurants are very very hard to find in this area. Price / quality excellent, great service, very good food in cosy restaurant. We paid total 40-50⬠for secondi platti, for two person incl drinks. The restaurant is somewhat hard to find; it is next to a fuel pumpstation.In the garden ( i guess) > 40 chairs , inside upstairs many chairs as wel, as in the ground floor 20-30. Very kind , english spoken bij the boss!

We ate here one Saturday evening. We arrived at 9pm when there was only 2 other tables but by the time we left at about 11pm all the tables were full and more families just arriving. It looks as if this is a newly opened restaurant as the inside is immaculate and very tastefully designed with modern as well as traditional features. The menu is very good and prices are good eg pizzas from 4 euro and steaks 12 euro. The quantity and quality were excellent. The house red wine was very good and only 7 euro. This is our best restaurant of our holiday so far - even though most of the others in the area have also been of a very high standard.
