We were very tired as we had got up at 2.30 a.m. We eventually found the restaurant.Our first impressions were that it was dated. The service was good and friendly. The food that we had was well executed and the produce was excellent. The main courses of sea bass and lamb were served with mixed roasted vegetables.It was a good first night.Thank you for your review.Glad you dined with us on your first night and you had a good time.RegardsRuth

We visit this restaurant very frequently, cause everything here is very genuine.Such a quiet small place with a very good portion of food. The staff there they are all very friendly and helpful. As a main we took spaghetti Lobster which was out of this world! Obviously the most important thing overall is the food which was heavenly tasteful. Everything is so freshly prepared and the quality of food is 10 plus! The prices are very reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant to all out there , its a big must to visit in Valletta.

This place came highly recommended and its decor is very fancy. I was really expecting an exceptional dinner but was disappointed. Maybe I ordered the wrong items but both my sauteed rabbit liver and seafood platter were sadly over-cooked. I found this place on Google looking for somewhere to eat prior to going to the Hypogeum. I used Messenger a couple of times to contact them to ensure they were open for Tuesday lunch (very quick responses) and even made a booking (completely unnecessary as it happened)!Itâs a genuine family run business. The owner speaks only Italian but we managed very well. After being told that the sea bream was a fillet it turned out to be a whole fish so our lunch took quite a while to prepare. I had pasta with the most delicious sauce of rich passata, anchovy paste, garlic, raisins and pine nuts. Lots of sauce so the very kind owner provided me with a spotlessly clean tea towel to use as a bib! Much appreciated and very necessary.With water, a glass of house white and a local beer the bill came in at under â¬30 (we would have paid year much for the fish in St Julianâs!Recommended if youâre in the Paola area.

We went there yesterday and I did choose this tiny restaurant because such good rating at TripAdvisor. It was not bad but as well not such excellent as I could see there. Staff very very friendly and helpful. My fish was nothing sorry special My wife and daughter Thaler risotto which was good and my sons take swordfish which was little overcooked but good. Desert was good. Nice evening but will not go there next time.

This was not my first time here and they never disappointThe food is typical of Malta- there is a lot of it! Here at Browns they make it delicious whether it spaghetti, salmon, veal or rib eye.Would highly recommend Browns and the Waterfront is a tremendous location

Delicious food served by charming staff humble chef checking we enjoyed it just a fabulous experience We had rabbit liver in a port sauce it was outstanding followed by lobster with pasta which was just phenomenal my companion had ravioli with beef and ricotta and was equally impressed Totally necessary to book I did by email and they were very efficient in confirming my reservation a fabulous start to our holiday thank you lovely people at Beati Paoli
