Durch die Lage und die Tageskarte wurden wir in dieses Restaurant gelockt. Ein Blick auf den Hafen gefällt halt immer.Die Speisekarte ist schön aufgemacht, jedoch war ich vom Essen eher enttäuscht. Aber das Essen kam erst nach einigen Service-Fehlern:Zunächst wurden statt der bestellten alkoholfreien Radler Getränke mit Alkohol geliefert. Kann passieren - kann aber auch kritisch sein.Leider kam der Hauptgang vor der Suppe - die in der Karte als "Starter" ausgewiesen war. Die an sich freundliche Bedienung nahm schon fast voraus, dass es hoffentlich nicht stören würde... hmm. Fischsuppe parallel zum Hauptgang. Eines wurde auf jeden Fall kalt!Jedoch hatte ich das Gefühl, dass sowohl in der Fischsuppe als auch der gebratene Fisch kein frisches, sondern ein TK-Produkt verwendet wurde. Ein wenig trocken, fasrig, wässrig und geschmacklos. Das hätte ich direkt an der See nicht erwartet - und besonders nicht in einem Restaurant, dass schon im Namen die Nähe zum Wasser mit sich führt.Also, fürs Essen würde ich hier keinen Halt mehr machen.

Gebackenes Dorschfilet mit Bratkartoffeln: schnell gemacht, schnell gegessen - mit Ausnahme der Bratkartoffeln! Letztere sind hier als ungenieÃbares Abfallprodukt erster Güteklasse zu bezeichnen: vorgebraten, erkaltet im Fett, wieder angeblich mit Butter aufgewärmt und dem dummen Kunden wie frisch aus der Fritteuse glänzend ölig triefend, schlaff und matschig in der Konsistenz und völlig frei von Schinkenwürfeln und Zwiebeln einfach untergejubelt! Ein Graus für Auge & Magen, Missbrauch des Kunden als Drangtonne ...Weil die Remoulade nicht einmal die Gabelspitze geschweige den gebackenen Fisch bedeckt, wird bei Nachschlag zu allem Ãberfluss noch ein Euro aufgerufen. Ich erwarte bei einem Imbiss keineswegs eine Gourmetküche, aber bei einem derart armseligen Beispiel von Gastwertschätzung & Kochkunst wäre eine Empfehlung die pure Verhöhnungâ¼ï¸

We were looking for a place where the famous Eckernfoerde "Fischbroetchen" were served. We came to the Fischbroetchen-Manufaktur and indeed here you will get a highlight of this delicacy. Hiring served in a warm bun with lettuce and a light sauce, onions of your choice. We came from DK where Fischbroetchen are virtually unavailable and can only recommend this place very much.

Arnis is the smallest town in Germany, with only 340 inhabitants and a total area of 0.45 km2. But it has a great fish restaurant, called "Zur Schleiperle". It can't be missed with its strong blue color, hovering on poles over the water of the Schlei.Their menu offers a great variety of fish, accompanied with potatoes of any kind. I tried a combination dish that included sea salmon: excellent! I'm not a fan of potatoes, but the ones they serve here are to die for! Service is professional and friendly.The only negative (and you will find it in more restaurants in this area): you can't pay with a credit card. Positive: they have a bar for dogs, so these never go thirsty (see picture)Reservations recommended, because this place is very popular!

Stopped by Aal on a weekdn trip to the North Sea with some friends.Location-wise, it's easy to find, and away from the hussle and bustle of the main street.But more importantly, the staff was super friendly and accomodating, service was quick and the food was great. No wonder the place has been open since 1911!

During our stay in Kappeln we had to visit "die Alte Räucherei" in Kappeln because that is the place where you can eat delecious fish in a great atmosphere directly at the harbor of Kappeln. We had a beautiful table directly at the bar. We enjoyed our dinner with a glas of cider. I had the "Gourmet Teller" with filets of "Scholle" and king prawns served with a salad and fried potatoes. We had a beautiful time there and we are looking forward to our next stay in Kappeln and dinner at Duncan's (owner of Alte Räucherei) place!

Restaurant has a friendly ambiance with comfortable seating inside or on the balcony. The menu is not frilly and offers plenty for the seafood seeking diner. My wife and I were both impressed with the quality of service, presentation and taste of our dishes. We agreed that it was a nice experience and great value for the price. If you have some room left you can share a delicious dessert too.

We were nicely surprised to find out that there was a really good pizzeria in Kleinwaabs, not far away from the camping sites.We had pappardelle alla boscaiola ( mushrooms) which were delicious. Our neighbours unfortunately had chosen the rubbery salmon pappardelle. The sauce though was good.Dogs were accepted as long as they did not bother anybody. The service was prompt.Pizzas apparently are good, people choosing mostly those. They look "fatte in casa" and seem to be good, according to a diploma saying they had been elected best pizzeria of Schleswig Holstein years ago.

Man sitzt hier einfach herrlich im Sommer! Entweder drinnen in der netten Gaststube oder drauÃen unter schattenspendenden Bäumen an der Hauswand oder im wunderschön eingewachsenen Garten! Super und gepflegtes Ambiente.Wir hatten den Grillteller und die Fischplatte. Knackiger Salat, frisches Gemüse in sehr offensichtlich hausgemachte Saucen dazu. Komisch, dass es bislang keine Bewertung hier gibt - bei all den Campern in der Nähe!
