I went to La Lira for an early family dinner. We were not overly hungry as we had also had a large lunch but decided to get some pizzas to share. We were not overly impressed. The pizzas were nice but not outstanding, the service was surprisingly unfriendly and there was a fly in the restaurant who seemed determined to eat our food before we could.

We went for lunch after visiting some of the local wineries. We did not have reservations, but this was not a problem. What struck me most about the restaurant was the service. The waitress was so friendly and helpful, very enthusiastic about her restaurant. We were presented with a taste of an eggplant mousse, it was delicious. We both had the risotto of the house with scallops. It was amazing, a unique risotto and I am a big fan of risotto. For main courses we had the pork shoulder and the tuna, both of which were just ok, the taste was fine, but had hoped for more. I did enjoy the veggies with the tuna. We each had a dessert, which was both delicious and unique, accompanied by a Jamaican coffee, a rare find in Italy. The restaurant also offers set menus that are very affordable. While the restaurant is set back off of the street, making it a bit hard to find, you can park off of the street in front of the restaurant.

Se volete cenare con pesce crudo di qualità in zona Vicenza questo è il posto che fa per voi. Il crudo è uno dei migliori che abbia mai mangiato, disposto sul piatto in maniera originale e con abbinamenti interessanti. Anche il resto dei piatti presenta delle peculiarità stuzzicanti, come gli spaghettini freddi con mazzancolle, alici, ricciola, gamberi rossi e salsa d'ostrica (che consiglio vivamente!). Non si può andar via senza dolce: da provare assolutamente i cannoli siciliani fatti a mano (unica pecca: avrei preferito la versione originale con ricotta di pecora). Da considerare che i prezzi sono più alti della media, solo per questo non posso dare il massimo dei voti.

One of the best restaurants in the Veneto. Great salumi (some home made) to begin, then some of the best homemade pasta around, followed by unique dishes like baby goat liver or fantastic grilled meats, that are brought to the table before cooking. Deserts are also excellent, my favorite being orange ice cream with orange sauce. The restaurant also has an excellent wine list. I have been going there for 10 years and the food is consistently excellent.

This hotel is not listed as a hotel but as a restaurant. But it was truly a nicely and newly built restaurant in Lonigo. Very modern layout and decor. Nice and comfortable bed and large rooms. For the price of about â¬60+ with breakfast, it was a good deal. The only shortcoming is the wifi. Each guest was issued with a A4 paper with a 8 digits User ID and 8 digits number a password and it only last for 3 hours. Yes, only 3 and then you have to go and get another new User ID and PW. In addition, only 1 device at a time. Free wifi in hotels for multiple devices are as common as toilets in the rooms and this system is antiquated and non-producive.Thank you for choosing our hotel and for your precious time that you spend to wrote this words. We are glead thet you enjoy your stay in our Hotel. About the internet access, we are sure that in the future we will change this system and we provide to be as the most modern and request quoted hotels.Thank's again to beeing here.Hope to see you again.

E' la seconda volta che mangio in questo locale ed ora scrivo la prima recensione.Locale perso nel nulla: la prima volta mi sono trovato a passare ad ora di pranzo e mi sono fermato attirato dai cartelli che reclamizzavano diverse pietanze...ho fatto bene.L'altra sera, invece, ci sono venuto apposta da Trento (!) per la "festa del baccalà avvertito da un messaggio su Whatsapp poiché in occasione della prima visita avevamo lasciato il numero visto che ci eravamo trovati bene.Lascio alle recensioni lasciate da chi mi ha preceduto la descrizione del locale e dei proprietari che approvo incondizionatamente e mi focalizzo sulla serata baccalà :Prenotazione obbligatoria, tavolo ampio, sala troppo rumorosa (ma con quasi 40 persone lì dentro non ci si poteva aspettare diversamente), servizio buono con personale giovane ed apparentemente preso per l'occasione.La cena prevista per le 19:45-20:00 è iniziata con un certo ritardo sull'orario indicato ed è pure partita piuttosto lentamente...alle 21:00 eravamo tutti (almeno il mio tavolo) ancora in preda ai morsi della fame avendo anche quasi terminato il vino.Fortunatamente in seguito è stato un crescendo ed alla fine, con tutti i ripassi, siamo riusciti a "strafogarci" di baccalà fino a non poterne più...tra bis, tris, dolcetti, grappa e caffé siamo usciti alle 23:00 con piena soddisfazione di tutti.Apprezzabile anche che la cuoca si sia fatta vedere al termine della cena a chiedere se era andato tutto bene.⬠112,10 in tre con vino, dolci e grappa ben spesi: per le prossime volte, però, suggerisco vivamente di specificare che nel prezzo non è compreso il coperto (a mio giudizio piccola caduta di stile) e, per attirare anche i mangioni come me, magari far notare come in fin dei conti il cibo sia praticamente "a volontà ".Terrò certamente in considerazione questo locale per le prossime cene a tema: quasi un'ora di strada in montagna per una cena "qualunque" forse per me è un po' troppo...;-).

La Peca is one of best examples of âhaute cuisineâ you can have in nowadays Italy. Everything is sophisticated and top level. First of all, the restaurant, modern and beautifully located in the Veneto countryside: you may enjoy a pleasant view of the Berici Mountains from the large windows. Furniture is pure design, with a tasteful combination of several modern designers, including stylish chairs by Philippe Stark. Food is supreme. Difficult to describe the ever changing menu, which ranges from appetizers to primi piatti and includes with the same taste and creativity both fish and meat. We are at the top of Italian cousine and you see it and you feel it. It is also a visual experience. Nothing to recommend in particular, and all to be recommended: how can you possibly recommend perfection? Just be tempted by the set menu âOre 12â which gives you a flavor of different types of dishes. Wine list is in line with the quality of the food. La Peca is at the top end of the market and does not come cheap. However for the sophisticated traveler with a passion for the haute cuisine it is an experience not to be missed. Simply one of the top restaurants all throughout Italy

Wow, what a beautiful restauarant. Looks like everyone involved here.Can't really fault the food but it did just not life up to expectations. Disco like type music doesn't fit the setting.Very impressive wine list which is a positive!
