Laganas (Greek: Λαγανάς) is a village and a former municipality on the island of Zakynthos, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zakynthos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit Laganas covers the southernmost part of Zakynthos. Its municipal seat was the town of Pantokratoras (pop. 925 in 2011). The municipal unit of Laganas has a land area of 74.104 km². Its largest towns are Mouzaki (pop. 1,702), Lithakia (pop. 1,307), Pantokratoras, Kalamaki (pop. 890), Laganas (pop. 729), and Keri (pop. 469). The central and eastern part of the municipal unit are flat, but there are hills up to 450 m elevation in the west. The Zakynthos International Airport lies in the eastern part of the municipal unit, near Kalamaki. The beach village Laganas, part of the community of Pantokratoras, is on the southeastern coast. A large part of Laganas is a national park, established for the protection of turtles.

Food was very good couldnât fault it, but the waiters didnât know anything about wine, the mythos was flat!, sent it back no apology or no offer of a replacement, no one came to ask if you wanted anymore drinks or a dessert, not the service we were expecting.

Been coming to this restaurant for years.Excellent food and excellent service.Greek dancing every night.Wonderful views of the bay.Food can be tailor to your needs and requests.Can tailor for one person or a large table of 20 plus.Very friendly staff.Front of house and in the kitchens.Lots of dishes and meals to choose from and great value for money and very clean and tidy.There is a play area for young children to.During the day food and drink can be brought to your sun beds on the beach.

If I could give Bon Appetit more stars I would. I felt so impressed I arrived home today and needed to write a review to share my experience with others maybe looking for a traditional place to eat. Wonderful vegetarian food (I had the vegetarian moussaka..delicious!!) Excellent customer service, very warm, friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant, if you are looking for a taste of fresh homemade greek food with a relaxed family feel. Disappointed we only went here on our last night. Best meal of the week by far. Set in beautiful gardens and friendly staff. Steaks were absolutely top notch and reasonably priced. Got complimentary bread and dips then complimentary bruschetta before our meal even arrived. Spring rolls as our starter which were some of the best we've ever tasted. Steaks with sauces for our main which were again some of the best we have had,perfectly cooked. Then given complimentary cocktail and a small panna cotta which was beautiful but none of us had room to eat

The manager was so great and incredible good service. The food was fresh and if you visit Laganas you have to eat here. The food was so tasty and fresh fish, tasty food and really good prices , i will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing place to spend a time with hungry family. Starters on the house. Dessert on the house. But it's just small part of great foot, friendly and helpful stuff. It is sad we found this place at the end of our vocation. Wish the best luck for this restaurant and a lot of satisfied customers!

We have visited Laganas 3 times now and each visit have eaten in Sizzlebang. The food has always been cooked to perfection and staff always friendly with excellent sense of humour. Gorgeous food, complimented by a gorgeous hostess. The family are a credit to the island. Highly recommended.
