Laganas (Greek: Λαγανάς) is a village and a former municipality on the island of Zakynthos, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zakynthos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit Laganas covers the southernmost part of Zakynthos. Its municipal seat was the town of Pantokratoras (pop. 925 in 2011). The municipal unit of Laganas has a land area of 74.104 km². Its largest towns are Mouzaki (pop. 1,702), Lithakia (pop. 1,307), Pantokratoras, Kalamaki (pop. 890), Laganas (pop. 729), and Keri (pop. 469). The central and eastern part of the municipal unit are flat, but there are hills up to 450 m elevation in the west. The Zakynthos International Airport lies in the eastern part of the municipal unit, near Kalamaki. The beach village Laganas, part of the community of Pantokratoras, is on the southeastern coast. A large part of Laganas is a national park, established for the protection of turtles.

Stayed at the posiedon beach hotel over the road.saw this place on trip advisor before coming.glad I did it's amazing.
Home cooked fresh food and cocktails to die for.
Happy hour daily 5-6 bogof. Deffo recommend this place. So friendly too. Quiz nights on Thurs too. Went here alot

My three mates and I called in here for some great Greek food, and Tasos Taverna didn't disappoint!
We were chatting to the guy outside with the menus (Roberto) and popped in for another visit to this great sea-front restaurant. We just managed to get a table as the place was almost full or reserved. We had a few pints of Mythos between us, and ordered our starters and mains. I went for the Saganaki (Greek fried cheese) to start, and the homemade moussaka for my main (Greek lasagne). The rest had tzatziki and warm pitta bread for starters, and Beef Stifado (Greek Beef Stew), Zakynthos Beef (Oven cooked beef in feta cheese and tomato sauce), and Zakynthos Chicken (also oven cooked and in feta cheese and tomato sauce). All of our meals arrived in around 30 minutes, which considering how busy the place was, we expected, and also found reassuring to the fact that what we were going to be eating could be seen from the restaurant as it's an open kitchen.
Everything was great, the service, food, atmosphere, price, the lot!
I think we paid about 20 euro each (roughly) which was amazing, and great value for money! See you next time! :)

Great food lovely romantic setting best meal we've had in Zante so far. The restaurant has a peaceful garden setting and offers traditional Greek food alongside a superb grill couldn't fault it thank you

Night after staying at the hotel opposite Zante Park, Omg we were totally overwhelmed the meal was delicious, excellent value for money. Staff were very courteous and attentive. We were very satisfied with the standard and quality of this restaurant. Highly recommended, thanks to front of house from The Girls from Bham (your neighbours)

This restaurant is fantastic; visited on our last night and we wasn't disappointed!! The PR representative was amazing walked past him every day and only on our first day did he say to come in after that he was very polite and never hassled us to go in.
When we did go, we wished we had visited early!! My wife had Pork Chops and I had Mixed Gyros. Both meals was fantastic........... unfortunately due to the amount on our plate we was unable to polish it all off :-( but it was fantastic!!!
The waitress that served was very friendly and the service was brilliant, we regret not going more.

I have eaten here each time I visit Laganas and am always impressed by the quality of the food at a reasonable price, took some friends this time and we had the "flaming" lamb kleftico, amazing, even had an omelette which was lovely, the staff are always welcoming and chatty, will be visiting again next year.

We stumbled across this on our first day and came back quite a few times for lunch! Chicken souvlaki pita wrap was our favourite and around €3, house red was one of the better ones we’d had and that was around €4 for 1/2L. Staff were incredibly friendly, the man who served us on our first day gave us a map and showed us all the places we had to visit on our 6 day trip while we waited for our meal. Great hospitality and great food, highly recommend if you’re after a cheap good meal for lunch!

Really enjoyed the food here! I had the deal for 15 euros which included starter, main and unlimited drinks. We did try this same deal at another place but the food here was of a much better quality! I had garlic bread starter which was a massive portion and really nice, then quesadillas for main which were also really good! Only managed to get through one drink of sex on the beach but still well worth the money. The lady who served us who I think owns it or runs it was also lovely and great service. Would recommend this place!

absolutly fantastic breakfast :) we went here a few times for our breakfast and couldnt find fault with anything , you got a very warm and polite reception when you went in and they couldnt do enough for us if we go back to Laganas again this will be my first port of call
