Great place run by Sardinian guys. Prices are affordable, but the quality is well above expectations! Service is very good as well. Recommend ravioli with mushroom sauce, also seafood soup; the size of prawns is the biggest ever saw! Came once and returned during the same trip again (2 families travelling together decided unanimously) - was worth it.Grazie per la bella recensione, speriamo di rivedervi presto , tanti saluti

This is a very good value local restaurant, they do excellent pizza, but have a wide range of other food. The restaurant is typical Italian, the surroundings are basic but the food is very good

I had lunch with some friends last weekend at La Dea Partenope. Th restaurant is placed greatly for people travelling in Tuscany, especially for those going to the Pisa Airport.We had gnocchi alla Sorrentina, spaghetti walnuts, black olives, aglio, olio e peperoncino and tagliolini with shrimps. As a second dish we had polpo and friarelli. As a dessert we got pastiera.All the food was great the only problem is that there was only a waiter to attend all the customers (and there were 5/6 tables of 4 people each) so it took some time to have lunch, but the food was great and the price was not too expensive either. Great place!

Have family in Calci and they took us for pizza. Def not touristy but filled with locals. Delicious pizzas with that perfect brick oven thin crust. There were 12 of us and as Italians do everyone gets their own pizza! It was great because I got to taste all the different offerings. I am a fan of the Quattre stagiona pizza and it was delish!Just another reason I want to live in Tuscany!! I highly recommend La Certosa!

We had a lovely dinner at Ristorante i Maggi with 4 courses. But before that, we were surprised with a delicious amuse. The starter was very creative: a cappuccino of seafood! First and second course tasted good as well, though were a bit less exclusive. The staff was friendly and gave some good advice. Last but not least, we liked the combination of old and modern interior.

Beautiful location a short walk from the centre of Vicopisano. Menu is in Italian but owner is helpful with a translation book and advice. Food was incredible. Charming little surprise located near our agritorisimo La Pisana in Pisa. We ordered 2 different pasta plates, one pistachio cream with crunchy bacon. The other plate was sun dried tomatoes with olives and almonds. Both dishes were excellent. We are planning to return here for dinner tonight. Great service too!

Not many customers on that weekday for lunch. Nice welcome and kind and efficient service. The waiter helped to translate the menu. We opted for a seafood platter and pasta with black truffle as starters, followed by pigeon and osso bucco as second dishes. Everything was excellent. Reasonable portions.Excellent deserts. Cost for two with two glasses of wine, coffee: 130EUR.

An excellent restaurant in a small tuscan village .We ate hear with some italian friends the food is of top quality both seafood and meat.The prices are very reasonable and we would recommend a visit if you are inthe area.

Monte Carlo is a beautiful tuscan village with a number of lovely places to eat. This place is particularly lovely as offers gluten free options and caters for vegetarians. Really peaceful lunch time location with amazing views. Food was served promptly but once again kept waiting for one family member to be served their food sometime after everyone else which is why we give it four stars. Definitely worth a visit and great to get off the tourist trail.
