We totally lucked out on the last spare table at Deniz when Foca was humming on a lively Sunday evening. Great variety of starters (the waiters takes you to look and choose your food rather than using a menu), enjoyed super-fresh and perfectly cooked red mullet and sea bream. Excellent value (less than 50TL for two with bottle of wine and 4 starters) and always good to know that you can pay by card.

We had a very pleasant evening at Letafet. The starters (calamari, shrimps and stuffed mushrooms) were lovely. Our tenderloin steaks were really tasty. They also a singer \ guitarist. It was a shame that there were so few people there (Tuesday evening).

Enjoyed it so much the first time we went here that we went back. Great choice of food, do try some of the local dishes. Excellent service, reasonable cover charge that provided plenty of bread olives and water. Lovely staff who couldn't do enough to serve and help you.

A very well located restaurant with menu prices that reflect that. Staff a bit pushy. The creed is get the customers seated and then get them spending.

fokai is the best fish restorant in foça. far from rush, very nice local with a very nice view. we are visiting this restorant since 1985 and the quality never changed. never search for another pleace for see food.

Although, you can find the ice-cream with gum mastic in almost everywhere in Izmir as a favourite dessert, the small shop in Eski/Old Foca offers varieties of ice-cream including with the gum mastic. Since the shop is very small and many people like to buy some ice-cream from that shop, you have to wait at the long queue. I am wondering why the shop owner has no intention to enlarge his shop to provide better services to its loyal clients.

I at lunch here with my family and the service was good and the food tasted good at the time. The only problem is I think they use MSG preservative as I am allergic to it and the effects of MSG were very evident the next day on both myself and my mother in law. If you react to MSG I would reconsider eating here.

I am a coffee lover. Especially Turkish coffee.
I found this little coffee shop after quick tour of Foca and I was craving for a good Turkish coffee. I wasn't expecting such well roasted, grinded and brewed coffee. And guess what ? All come from same hand : Owner of a cafe.
I am very satisfied with the taste. I am looking forward to visit this cafe again.
