A brilliant Cafe.Friendly service. Lots of savoury dishes.Plenty of vegetarian stuff.I had battered cauliflower florets. Vegetable strudel is wow. Lots of cakes too. Set in the historic town of Tulln.A must to visit here.

I was invited by my Austrian colleagues to experience local cuisine. Everything was delicious. The owner had the whole cellar full of fine Austrian wines- we had white vine I do not remember the name.
I had Zander ( I think it is pike) it was grilled to perfection. Also interesting was to try dumplings with sort of cracklings seved on a bed of sauerkraut.
The owner is there all the time serving- he did not speak English. They do have English Menzies though and waiters speaking English.
Very nice and friendly place- highly recommend.

This coffee house on the main square served excellent Segafredo coffee. The fresh orange juice was very refreshing. And the toasted ham and cheese made for a tasty mid-morning snack. It has comfortable outside and inside Seating and includes free wifi.

My daughter and I stumbled on this restaurant in the old city center near the Danube during a day trip from Vienna, drawn in by the presence of other diners and a board advertising the lunch Menu (in Italian) of a seasonal pumpkin cream soup and pumpkin gnocchi (7.90€). Friendly, professional service, great local wines, outdoor Seating, stylish and comfortable atmosphere, an extensive menu and most important, great food! Service was excellent and the chef came out to say hello. The restaurant is newly opened and serves lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.

Was an attempted record for slow service underway? After 1h 20m a plate of average spaghetti was produced. Given the restaurant's been around for a while, it's difficult to believe this is typical, even by the massively variable standards of Austria's tourist industry. Simple things like a) turning us away b) telling us the kitchen can't produce food for an hour - would seem to be a better way of treating customers. Take a book - it could be a long wait for food.

This was our second visit at Der Floh. We went there with high expectations and we were not disappointed. The waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. The entry with celery and quitte was very delicious and had a nice texture. The main course with pumpkin and roasted pork was a little on the tender side but the flavors came out perfectly. Although the portions were not supersized we were full after that and had only little room for the "Flohzirkus" as desert. These were little tasty pralines - one for each of us. All in all a perfect evening.

I stumbled on this restaurant looking for somewhere to get some dinner. Adlerbräu is on the relatively quiet city hall square (Rathausplatz) with plenty of outdoor Seating. Service was professionally warm and efficient. Adlerbräu brews their own beers; I had one, and it was very good.
The food, however, was the best meal I had in my entire week in Austria.
I ordered an entree special that I think translated as something similar to the hunter's or woodsman's meal, because it came with assorted sausages. Those were the BEST sausages! Two smoky links, tow light-colored links, and a blood sausage patty. The sauerkraut was deliciously tangy and sour. And the potato pancakes were crispy and soft at the same time. All of this was served in an iron pan. I tried valiantly to eat it all but had to give up with sauerkraut and potato pancake left in the pan. For the amount of food I got (which could have fed 2 non-bicyclists), the cost was quite reasonable.
Since I was traveling solo, I can't speak to any of the other items on the menu, but the few other patrons scattered on the patio seemed happy.

Despite being located near the local Camping, Taverne2 is more than a restaurant nextto a Camping ground.
Good cuisine, offering local specialties as well as varying themes on different weekdays (Fish, bbq, ...).
Options for vegetarians and carni- and locavores.at reasonable prices.
Living nearby we are here several times a year.
The kids love the nearby playground
When the weather is fnie Reservations are recommended

Die sonnige Lage am Rande eines Teiches, inmitten schöner Gärten ist natürlich einmalig aber wundersamer Weise ist auch die Qualität des Essens 1A; bei einem Restaurant, dass keine Konkurrenz in der Umgebung zu fürchten hat ist das große Klasse! Speisen, Service und auch Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sind tadellos, einzig die offenen Weine bringen nicht ganz die Qualität, die die Preise versprechen.
Es ist allerdings anzumerken, dass sich das Restaurant in der eintrittspflichtigen Tullner Gartenschau befindet, sodass man quasi 12.- € / Person zu den Menüpreisen dazurechnen muss. Schade, dass es kein diesbezügliches Arrangement mit der Betreibergesellschaft gibt (.i.e. tw. Gutschrift der Eintrittsgebühern auf die Restaurantrechnung, nach Höhe gestaffelt, oder so...). Jedenfalls, wenn man schon da ist, ist auch ein Verdauungsspaziergang durch die Gärten unbedingt zu empfehlen....

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber - und das obwohl Muttertag und der Gasthof voll.
Sehr leckere Vorspeisen-Grammelknödel, Spargelcreme-Suppe und Speck-ummantelter Ziegenkäse.
Die Hauptspeisen wirklich vom Feinsten.
Kalbsfilet, Rinderfilet, gebackener Spargel, Rindsroulade samt tollen Beilagen.
Leider war für ein Dessert keine Zeit mehr, - das werden wir bei nächster Gelegenheit nachholen.
