山形＆天童方面へのドライブの帰りに、名物の「あげまんじゅう」を買いに行ってきました。
もちろん、他にも和菓子が揃っていましたが、やはり一番人気は「あげまんじゅう」のようで、結構混みあっていました。
1つ１００円ほどなので、気軽に購入できます。

宿をチェックアウト後の帰京の新幹線までの時間を駅前周辺でと宿の方に教えていただきました。地元の方もリピーターとなる人気店です。
小盛、普通盛、大盛と分量調節もできますし、サラダ、飲み物付きのセットもあります。

人気店なのでお昼時は混雑必至。オープン時間に合わせて行っても、既に車で待っている人もいるほど。
定番は冷たい肉そば。温かいのもありますが、まずは冷たいのがオススメ。揚げたてゲソ天と一緒に食べればボリューム満点大満足。
山形に行くときは、天童に用事が無くても一庵に立ち寄るために遠回りしても行っちゃいます。

座敷もありますが、混んでくると詰めて相席となります。今回がそれでした。肉そばを食べましたが、美味しかったです。もちろんざるそばも美味しく子供はペロッと食べていました。山形そばの楽しみゲソ天もカリっと美味しかったです。

What a pleasant surprise the Tendoso Garden Cafe was! Easy access by car, with plenty of parking, the restaurant was a wonderful place for lunch. Every day lunch is limited to two choices, a seafood dish and a meat dish. I shared one of each, and both were excellent.
We were a large group of 12, and having made a reservation were able to sit together. The kitchen can also deal with allergies if you call ahead, but vegetarians are out of luck.
Highly recommended, and if I get back out this way, I’ll certainly make an effort to return to this very pleasant restaurant.

山形新幹線の北東、羽州街道沿いにあります。
羽州街道沿いの駐車場は数台分しかありませんが、裏側のお店の敷地内に駐車場があります。
（こちらの方が入れやすいです）
土日はかなり混雑します。
店内は、大きなお座敷になっています。
テーブルの間隔も広く取られています。
おすすめは、鴨汁せいろです。
ここのおそばはかなり細めです。
でも、おそばの風味も活きています。
夏の季節メニューでは、すだちそば（すだちがたくさん、インパクト大）や、冷たいトマトのぶっかけそばもあります。
ごちそうさまでした。
