On our trip to Bornholm, we tried a couple of local beers from Svaneke, so when we visited the beautiful town, we had to go to the brewery. My wife and I each had the flight of four beers. This was a treat. The Mork Guld was my favorite, but I also liked the Reggae beer. Sweet Mary was amazing, but a bit strong for me at 7.9%. And I just could not wrap my taste buds around the Licorice beer, but my wife liked it. The point is, Svaneke is a creative brewery and you can take your own tasting tour by ordering a couple of samplers and enjoying the experience in a classic old Danish building. The service was excellent. Young people rushing to fill orders, absolutely polite, and deliberately helpful explaining the beers and the menu. While we didn't eat here, I wish we had. The plates of ribs, open face sandwiches, etc., looked like artwork in their presentation.

Hummerhytten's (another restaurant originally based in Copenhagen that moves to Bornholm in summer season) ambition is to "serve great food in flip-flops" trying to catch Bornholm's summer feeling while not compromising when it comes to quality. Luckily, they succeed!
Offering a small menu based around seafood, particullary lobster (as the name implies), but also offering one or two meat-dishes, you can either eat a la carte (2-3 dishes needed) or try a taste of all dishes in a modestly prized tasting menu (399 DKK). We chose a la carte, ate big Greenpand shrimps Danish style, a lovely and rich lobster soup and a langoustine salad. A light dinner perfect for a summer evening! The waiter recommended a rosé chmpagne - excellent choice! In general, service was friendly and knowledgeable without being intruding.
They have a very nice location near Listed harbour, but the venue is partly outdoors - so dress for the weather. Open for both lunch and dinner, we needed no reservation on a sunday in july.

It is about 15 minutes strolls from Svaneke city Center and Harbour. Very popular among the domestic tourists, a proof of its value and taste. It is a fast food type of operations, order the food and beverage at the counter, collect your own condiments and cutleries, seat in the canteen style indoor our outdoor area. Average meal with drink below DKK90. You could get sandwiches, fish meatball, fish & chips, smoked mackerel, salmon, eel and herring...more than a dozen selection. Fast and tasty. Dishes are kept warm and fresh. A taste of traditional Danish food.

After a day of viewing a round church, a sausage maker, a herring smoker and a red brick castle, this oasis on the harbor in Svaneke filled us with fresh local fare in three wonderful courses! The three salmon appetizer, lamb (not gamey) entree and strawberry tarte...all local harvest...satiated our souls!

Biking into Svaneke for lunch we had no knowledge of the local restaurant scene, so some scouting around became necessary. Based on the street menu Pakhuset was collectively chosen to everyones eventual satisfaction. Outdoor Seating was available. We went with a choice of smørrebrød, 3 each, and came away very satisfied. All very tasty, try the one with local cheeses. Salad was included in the meal and the salad bar was better than most i've seen. The local Svaneke beer is more than decent and went down well, particularly the pilsner. Service was quick. Value for money was high.
In short, highly recommended.

Louisekroen is definitely a place to stop by if you enjoy steaks.
The steaks (sirloin and filet) at Louisekroen is probably the best served in Denmark, the meat is cured to a perfect level and is the best we have ever tasted!
The suroundings is traditional and sides orders are secondary to the meat.
A must-do for meat lovers..

The last few years, SØfP has served a select bohemian public at a tiny sand beach with really cold water, cool music, and chilled prices in the bar. Exclusive in the most affordable manner. Earlier, it was harder to find, but the new owners put the secrecy of the place at stake, hence only 4 stars.

We came back this year only to find the place is still as great as last year.
Perfect location on the harbour and with a traditional menu of local fish dishes. We had tasty food and excellent local brew from Svaneke.
They have have children's menues and we met friendly and professional staff who looked well after us. We'll be back for sure.

Had burgers and juice. Juice was really good. Nothing wrong with the beer and red wine. Burgers were moist and really tasty. Friendly service. Decent price. Would go again.
