I had lunch here today with collegues. My Swedish colleagues told me that this place was a typical Swedish lunch. No menu. Very similar to an American cafeteria like Luby's. Pick up a tray and a plate and walk down a line picking out the foods that you would like. Choice of 3 entrees and various vegetables. The food was very good. Very Swedish atmosphere. I did not encounter other Americans outside of our group.

I had the kebab special plate. It was huge. Big enough for two people. Great flavor. Similar to an American Gyro plate, but over french fries instead of on or in pita bread. One of the best values so far. Not fancy, kind of like a fast food place, but the food was good and affordable. Right across the street from the Hotel Princess. Definitely worth a try!

A great little bar with locals and visitors alike. Seemed to have a "regular" crowd along with some transients like me. Good cold beer, good food, and nice dinner specials to choose from. Great staff, too! You should definitely stop in for at least one cold one.

Basically a hamburger shop this is a small place in the middle of a shopping area, sitting out in what would be a street, except it is closed to vehicles. Pedestrian traffic only. They have hamburgers, hot dogs, kebabs, ice cream sandwiches. Neat place to grab a quick cheap lunch and watch the locals go about their daily activities. Very affordable. I had the kebab special. Plenty of food and very good.

Nice and comfortable pub with a living room atmosphere. Great selection of beer on tap and bottles. Ask the staff what they have.
Best burgers in town and generally a good menu of classic pub fare. Quite slow on weekdays but Reservations can be needed on weekends, Live music on occasions and then it usually gets crowded.

Staying in the hotel next door with nothing much going on in Sandviken, we decided to grab some american style food at this sports bar. The quesadilla was ok and the hamburger was a bit cold. Nice wine though.

I went there for a lunch buffet and they managed to arrange special vegetarian dishes for me. Very friendly and pleasing staff members. Except for the location, I will favor for this restaurant.
