Small out of the way place near the Washington Hotel. Chef was very entertaining and looked after the seven of us very well. Good spot for a light, quick meal.

Although the curries contain very little meat (maybe 3 pieces per serve), the sauces are delicious and seem pretty authentic for a restaurant in a rural part of Japan!
Plus, they are served with large delicious naan breads to mop up all the sauce.
You can get cheaper food in Japan, but the sets here are pretty good value if you are looking for something a bit more exotic and non-Japanese.

When you don't have much time,it is good for Lunch. I ate Zenbumori(all toppings). Delicious. Taste is not too much rich. Good balance. I rarely eat ramen. But it was good. I would like to try here another one.

The SAGA beef's good for steak. Lunch was delicious. About taste, it was sweet generally. I was quite happy. Saga cow's meat is expensive. I know that. However, even considering it, lunch price is high. Staff have not been refined.

In the last month we went there to eat Soba. The sobs were pretty good. We love their Soba so much. Very good!

lunch is value for money. Dinner might be expensive. The beef is excellent. Service is good. Nearby shop should be a stop after lunch

It's an izakaya that's quite crowded after 6.30pm, serving live ika squids of different sizes for the intrepid eaters. There's also a hotpot course on the more expensive side for those who is squeamish about raw squid still moving in front of them. Otherwise rest is just a smorgasbord of izakaya dish and drink choices.

さがレトロ館は、明治20年に警察部庁舎として建設された洋館です。佐賀城公園内にあります。昭和10年に現在のところへ移設されたとのことです。現在は、レストラン、ベーカリー、カフェ・バー、名産販売店となっています。食事、休憩をレトロな洋館で楽しんでは如何でしょうか？時間が無ければ外観だけでも見学されることをお勧め致します。
