Savalas Steak House is a locally owned and operated full service restaurant located in downtown Quesnel, B.C. Open Tuesday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer a wide variety of dinning options, including (but not limited too) Gluten Free Friendly, Vegan, Steaks, Seafood, Pasta, Pizza, Gourmet Burgers and a weekday themed lunch buffet. We believe in using the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can source, including locally grown products whenever practical. The majority of our menu items are made in house, and about 90% of our menu is available Gluten Free (including most of our house made desserts).

We come to this restaraunt every Sunday when we visit Quesnel. The staff are excellent and attentive with lot of coffee. The breakfast fare is as good as anywhere else but the hash browns are wonderfully crispy. Always look forward to this breakfastI am glad to hear that our food and staff keep you coming back for more! Hope to see you again soon.

We came off the train and got to Ulysses just as they would have normally been closing that night. The waitress and staff were very nice and accommodating and told us to go ahead and be seated. We subsequently had a delicious and fairly inexpensive meal. I had a huge portion of lasagna and a side salad which my wife shared. The food was excellent and the attitude of the staff was truly outstanding. Highly recommended.

We had the pleasant experience of eating here a couple times for breakfast and dinner during our stay at the hotel. The menu had a lot of variety and we really enjoyed their burgers and the fries were really delicious.
However, it would have been nice to have a drink list available to see what beer and wine they offer but we were told they didn't have one. Definitely get a pint of the local Barkerville Brewing beer if you visit!

When in town for business, I hit up the Cariboo once or twice a week. The burgers here are great and the beer selection good. The service is usually fast and friendly.

Stopped here on our way through Quesnel; used to come here all the time when we lived closer, but haven't been for years. Pleased to see it was still there and as good as ever. Great home-made soups, excellent coffee and huge tasty muffins. Service was quite quick and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. the place was packed - good indication of good food.

We have home Chai, Iced-t and lemonade. For food we serve award winning burgers and Poutines that are best of the very best. We have Indian food which is prepared with western pallet in mind and food like no where to be found in North America. Bliss has won Business of the year and we are huge sponsor of community events. We came here based on online reviews. It was quite busy with a very busy Takeout service. You order at the counter and are brought your food. There is limited Seating inside. The decor is fun. Visiting from Vancouver had to get my sushi fix. Pleasant service, slight difference in named rolls & cheap California roll is not shredded crab. Do a deep fried California roll probably reason for using fake crab. Assorted sashimi was awesome quality.
Price was issue, expensive but I guess you have to pay to get fresh this far away from coast.

Stopped in for some soup and sandwiches. Super good and staff were friendly. We grabbed some cookies and treats to go and they were good too! Will stop in again next time in town.

Looking for the gluten free experience and being coeliac I wasn't disappointed. Everything lush,chips tripple cooked cod fresh and melting , gluten free batter as light as a feather. This diner is located on an industrial site 3 km out of town and was full. Surely a testament in itself. We had this eatery pencilled in 6 months ago AS A MUST VISIT. Finally Carlos and his staff work flat out to please, feed, produce a great end product and be up front.
