This place is high above Lake Zürich, away from the City. Unparalleled great views.
Wonderful Terrace, which you can enjoy over a full meal, brunch or just coffee & tea.
We did the Sunday brunch. Get there for 11:00 to 11:30 and plan on at least 2 hours. They bring out the food in waves; breakfast stuff, including eggs, with cold cuts, followed by hot buffet and then desert.
CHF 45 per head with coffee and tea included.

I spent an evening with friends in the Rathaus Pfäffikon. We had Ossobucco with Polenta. I was surprised how they prepared the meal. Ossobucco is normally with a bone. Something I do not really like. They cut the meat differently; like a steak. Just great. The polenta and vegetable was also very nice. The wine was good and the room traditional and well furnished. Just a great place and not that expensive.

Restaurant Schiff has become one of our favorite restaurants around Lake Zurich for a number of reasons: great terrasse space, Sonja and her team are doing outstanding work to make patrons feel welcome, delicious food options and a solid variety of wines make this a great spot for lunch or dinner anytime. My personal favorite are the perch filets in brown butter, if the perch are from Lake Zurich and not imported. Wine recommendation is the Fläscher Sauvignon Blanc - goes well with it.

The sommelier takes care of the perfect accompaniment for every meal and at the Chef's table you can peek directly into the cooks' pots. Last ordering times for menus & grosses pieces: lunch until 1.30 pm / evening until 9.15 pm

We normally go to the "nippon sun" restaurant in the same house. The Pur is anything else than standard. The ambience, open kitchen, menus list and hug wine list makes gourmet lover feel home imitate. The staff is friendly and timely, the distance to other table good and gives you great privacy. A place where great food meets good wines at unfortunately mid.high price level. Its worth to try, we enjoyed it very much.

Absolutely fresh fish is exclusively used by our Sushi Master in preparing the extensive choice of Sushi and Sashimi. Choose your favorites from our a la carte menu or enjoy a menu composed for you by the chef. The light and healthy dishes are prepared before your eyes at the Teppanyaki table. Japanese chefs provide for an authentic Japanese cuisine. Take advantage of the Sushi take away offer, order on-line and enjoy at home.

they offer you acceptable japanese food, mainly in 4 different 5-course menus with prices ranging between 65 and 95 sfr (drinks excluded). the quality was ok but nothing from another planet. the quantity was sufficient if the steak was chosen as main course, however when choosing monkfisch or lobster it was not the case.
we were five persons and were seated at an unsifficiently big table, shared with two ladies that were already there.
i must advise, anyhow that normal tables for four persons were available in the room.
when you pay such prices, this sort of uncomfortable space is simply out of the ethics that a restaurant should observe, and that is the reason why i rate this restaurant below average level.
the service was average, was never carefull in order to fill up our wine glasses and also below the price paid.
when you are a host in the hotel, may be this is an option, otherwise, there are much better alternatives in the area.
i do not recommend this restaurant and will not return to this place.

Tasteful and elegant, but at the same time casual, such are the surroundings in which to enjoy highlights of traditional Italian home style cooking (pasta but no pizza!) As well as some classic favorites from around the world. A quick & healthy lunch, varying a la carte dishes, summer night- and pasta buffets and a wine list for any taste and for any budget. The adjacent Bar&PULS lounge with quick snacks and trendy drinks is the ideal meeting point for business and private matters.

450 euros for two starters, one order of spaguetti, 4 main courses, a bottle of wine, a couple of beers and some water. the cold meats were average. the shrimps, of low quality, came raw with mediocre sauces. the wild boar below average. other dishes rather poor. the service was polite but not as good as the price would indicate.
the only good point was that, by midnight, you could stay in your table and nobody was hurrying up, unusual in Switzerland.
i do not recomend this hotel restaurant at all.

Having eaten there already multiple times, the team manages to serve constantly well prepared food for fair prices, every month there are different "theme" dishes, friendly and innovative.

The location allows for a great view of the sunset over the lake of Zurich. The food (variety & quality) is great and recommended. The service is very helpful and consult you in your choice of dish. Reservations are probably recommended even during the week (especially in summer).

This was a great place. Service was quick and efficient. Wait staff spoke many languages, French included.
I had a risotto that was simply delicious. All my colleagues also quite enjoyed their meals.
They had good wine matching selection too, and fresh fish.
The place is large and a big group could be accomodated last minute.
I would strongly recommend them.
