A rainy day in Mora and a long queue at the counter, but service was quick and there are lots of tables. All cakes and sandwiches looked equally good. Especially the shrimp sandwiches look great. I liked the nachos with cheese, large portion.I like the different types of tea served in tea eggs.

Cosy restaurant and sports bar at Orsa Camping located on the shores of Lake Orsa, 1km walking distance from Orsa Center. American-inspired menu served in a English pub and sports bar environment. Children's menu. Located in the same building is a bowling alley with 12 lanes as well as video games and activities. For all ages. Have a great time and have a good meal. Entertainment and sports programming available on the website.
This complex of bowling sport TV restaurant and small games is on the coast just at the outskirts of Orsa ( couple of minutes from the church ) ..we stopped for brunch the food and service was good, a bit overpriced 160 SEK ( almost 20 USD) for burger and fries

Nice self service restaurant on top of the mountain. Great view. Attached to the wildlife park. Clean toilets. Food is fresh and okay, but not spectacular. Restaurant is designed as a large cabin with lots of wood and some stuffed bears. Okay for families with kids.

Food is average, burgers and pizza, though the pizza was good (tre ostre with cheeses), nice hot chocolate with marshmallows. We were served by a very kind waiter It's better to make Reservations because althugh we were very early,we had the last table

Although the food (I had a pizza) was quite OK it really wasn't much more. The establishment has a seedy feel to it, the staff (a very young girl who was probably just employed for the summer) lacklustre and the prices in no way reflected what you got. I would at least have expected a table that had been wiped off...

Nice setting and location, super cosy and traditional inside Seating. However the ordinary menu incl prefabricated pancakes pulls down the experience rating. Also the young and very nice staff struggle to meet demand in terms of long time to food serving. Also when we visited there were no glasses available as dishwashing or number of glasses seemed to be a bottle neck.

We set off on a bicycle tour of the lake with a promise of long lunch in the village of Orsa. The area is not short of fabulous scenery - pine dressed hillsides, picturesque waterways and delightful cottages. Brasserie Orsa overlooks all this and a serene lake. The restaurant is a little out of the village but easy to find and seemed very popular with locals taking their lunch too. We found a table outside on a balcony and tucked into a fresh and plentiful soup and salad buffet. Others availed themselves of more substantial meals which also looked tasty. There was plenty of choice, many tempting dishes and we were able to go back for second helpings. Coffee and tea was included in the price and we couldn’t resist a little dessert.

Mora has, despite its small size, a good base of tourists, gratifying that it is possible to find some restaurateurs who try to lift the gastronomy.A welcomed restaurant among all the mediocre pizzerias, etc.Restaurant ambiance is tasteful. What is offered on the menu are not of the same great class. Korsnäsgården is on the right path, but lack a bit of performance.Very friendly reception at the entre, not always common in Sweden with high personnel costs.

We were invited for dinner at this restaurant during our business trip to Mora. On arrival our table was skilfully decorated, a very impressive welcome that continue throughout the whole evening with excellent service and presentation at all levels.
The restaurant room is very pleasantly decorated.
The wine list was of very high quality, we had an excellent red and a white suggested by the maitre'd.
For food we chose the taster menu, all based in Swedish local cuisine including an excellent main of dear and a locally made caramel based desert.
Last but not least the view: one of the most breathtaking we have come across for a restaurant, worth the visit on its own, let alone the excellent restaurant experience.
We highly recommend the restaurant and would like to go back perhaps for a short stay at the hotel as this is also part of the same building/business.
