普通のラーメンとかもあるのですが、ここは室蘭名物としてたくさんの店でプッシュしているカレーラーメンをチョイス。カレーうどんだとそばだし汁で伸ばすところ、らーめんつゆだとより普通のカレーに近くなって、麺との絡みも強力に。そこをこそげおとして、後でライス投入というのが幸せかもしれません。

Presentation is definitely appealing but I found the tempura a little on the soggy side instead of being crispy... It's also unfortunate that when I got there, they only 3 items on the menu and it's barely 15 minutes past 6 p.m. I also made the mistake of ordering beer, which goes for 600 yen - a tad too expensive compared to other places in Hokkaido.

出張で室蘭に行ったので名物のカレーラーメンを食べてみることにしました。
北海道でカレーラーメンは、味噌、醤油、しおに続き第４のラーメンと言われているようです。
カレーもラーメンも大好物なので素晴らしい組み合わせにウキウキしながら、普通のカレーラーメンを注文。
とろっとしたスープで、黄色い縮れ麺によく絡み、なかなかの食べごたえ。
熱々なので、最後までフーフーしながら食べました。
コクがって最高ですね。思った以上においしかったです。
もちろんスープは全部飲み干しました。
お昼過ぎには地元の方で混んできましたので、早めの時間に行くことをお勧めします。
室蘭では、カレーラーメンが名物なので『室蘭カレーラーメンの会』というものがあり、いくつかこの会に加盟しているお店があるようです。
お店にも食べ歩きマップが置いてありました。
他にも加盟店が20件くらいあるようでしたので、全店制覇してみたいと思いました。

If you have not tasted curry ramen before, this is the place to try it! Curry ramen has been listed as one of the signatures of this sleepy port city. This small restaurant is already fully packed before lunch time but waiting times are thankfully short. The curry broth is thick and delicious! And the spiciness just kicks in and warms up your body on a cold day... I found myself working out a sweat by just eating... I'll definitely be back if I come to Muroran again.

I am surprised by the fact that Higashi Muroran has lots of good food. This restaurant is one of them. They are good for their Yakitori dishes. When we came to this place, we noticed that the whole street was full of smoke. We thought to ourselves: the whole restaurant must be very smoky. However, to our surprise, there was no smoke at all inside the restaurant. Order their Yakitori. All sorts of Yakitori. Very good. Standard is very high. Recommended.

We had road trip for holiday in Hokkaido and passed to Muroran and very hungry. I found out this restaurant in Google , so we try . Found out very good food. My dad had mixed tempura as well as Goose in big piece. My mom had udon with goose and I have goose hot plate with cold udon. Very good taste with good value for money. Highly recommend to visit if you go to Muroran
