Som nordmann trodde jeg først at det var en kaffe til salgs . Der tok jeg helt feil . Kafe`en innholdt masse ting som kunne selges bla. egenproduserte malerier og masse pyntegjenstander . De serverte egenprodusert lunch smørbrød og kaker , som smakte helt fortreffelig . Det helt spesielle var om du ønsket , kunne kjøpe med deg evt. både stol og bord som du satt på ;o)

We had a lovely lunch here. The salad table was varied with pasta salad and other salads I'd not seen elsewhere, there was also a nice selection of breads, both hard and soft. The lunch here was better than I've experienced in other restaurants.

Bra tillagad mat, lagom stora portioner. Fin sallad m bröd till. Humana priser. Det som drar ner betyget lite är att personalen inte var så service inriktade denna dag!

This is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. We were made very welcome by everyone. A big thanks goes to the lovely young lady who translated the menu for us as our Swedish is nonexistent . We chose the pork in a pepper sauce which was delicious. It was also lovely to meet ex speedway rider Henka. If in Kumla this is a must to vist and eat!

We were hungry for lunch and decided we didn't want to stop at yet another fastfood place. So merely by chance we saw Restaurang Brändåsen and decided to try it. Now most roadside restaurants are not too much to brag about, and as a comparison I must admit that Restaurang Brändåsen does make an effort to stand out. It prepares the meals well, at least the ones we were served, were well made and there was a generous salad buffet included. The open restaurant is maybe not the most charming, but the staff try to keep up with the busy business and there seemed to be empty tables at steady rate. But the food was good and honest.

Väldigt god och vällagad mat,bra priser.Det enda som var minus var att det inte fanns någon vinlista.Det fanns bara ett sorts rödvin som ägaren tyckte passade till alla rätter det känndes något billigt var lite surt.Om det fanns ytterligare förslag på något lite dyrare vin kommer det bli ett kanon ställe som det kommer bli svårt att få bord på.Trevlig personal!
