Toriton has expended from its base in Kitami to various cities including Asahikawa, Sapporo, and Tokyo.
I have had sushi at various locations and found solid consistency and excellence in service. Toriton at its home in Kitami is usually packed solid with lines extending outside, especially during holidays. The restaurant gives you a radio beeper that you can take to your car that will ring whenever it is your turn to be seated.
I have had sushi at the various Toriton restaurants over the past 20 years at least 50 times and stand solidly behind them. They are committed to quality sushi at prices that everyone can afford.
There are daily and seasonal specials (see the phones) as well regular changes to the menu. The menu includes classic sushi but also some unique experiments that sometimes are interesting.
This sushi restaurant strives to serve families and this is why you will find on the menu various desserts for children as well as ice cream on a cone that you can order whenever paying your bill as you leave.
I have a very wide extensive dining experience in Japan and overall in terms of cost performance would say that Toriton is in my top 10.

サイズは小さいですが、濃厚な味のチーズケーキは美味しいです。帰省時には必ず行きます。他にも焼き菓子が豊富にありどれも美味しいのでお土産になります。

Stopped by for lunch during our travels along the coast.
Sat at the table but had to wait for the manager to end her conversation on the telephone with her friend before she would take our order. After taking our order she got back on the telephone for a very loud conversation.
The food was very simple.

塩焼そばが食べられるお店として本に載っていたので行きました。美味しかったです。濃厚な塩味とうまみがとてもよかった。他にもランチメニューが充実していたので、今度行った時は他のメニューも頼んでみたいと思います。
