My boyfriend loves briyani and he eats it quite a fair bit living in Singapore and we thought our home country has one of the best power briyani.
Not till we tried the version here. The chicken briyani in this restaurant is out of the world. When I took my first mouthful, I couldn’t resist having more. It is so so so delicious. The way it’s been cooked is truly very tasty
He couldn’t agree more with me that we found the best briyani amongst all we have tried.
I ordered the devils beef curry and asked for extra spicy.
Although it was not very spicy (I am a spice girl) but it tasted so good . The flavours from the curry with white rice couldn’t be any better and the beef was also very tender.
I highly recommend everyone to order these 2 dishes when you visit this place.
The service is also very good. The food arrived in 25 mins but we were told the curry was made on the spot upon an order.
The wait was all worth it.
Very satisfied meal.

As a frequent traveller to the Maldives I was so pleased to have stumbled across this establishment. Authentic cuisine, polished finishing and presentation, great service and a leading ambience. Worldly quality in Male that would give many a resort restaurant a run for their money.

Want to relax in between speedboats. This is the place. Located adjacent to Jetty 7, it's a great place for lunch or afternoon tea/coffee. Go upstairs to the second floor and sit inside the cool air-con room or outside on the balcony overlooking the harbour. The lunch specials are great value and prepared fresh. Also a nice selection of sweets to go with your afternoon pick-me-up coffee. All the food here is presented beautifully and tastes great. The staff are also great!

we ordered nasi goreng and fried chicken noodles. We were unable to eat that food as it was really spicing. We didn't know if we were eating sausage, rice or vegetables so we were unable to distinguish all of these ingredients. What's more, it is not cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. I will not recommend it to anyone.

If only I can use the above statement as my whole review... Although it may sound unfair to the good work put out by the ever friendly & helpful staff of The Somerset, credit Mus the given where credit is due and I have to say my late lunch experience at the Belle Amie Bistro has just blown me away!
From the authentic medley of Indian curries (be it massala, or madrass), to their well prepared pasta, I can't help myself but be blown away by the little surprises this cute little bistro has to offer.
Great mocktails, even greater curries, fantastic sandwiches & burgers and well prepared pasta. Did I mention they were spot-on with their Asian cuisines too? Well, I've had my fair share of pleasant dining surprises, I'm more than happy to add Belle Amie Bistro into this list.
Bravo, keep up the good work.

After three weeks in Maldives searching for a proper Italian pizza, and searching online, I reach the option of trying this place, it took me a bus then ferry then taxi to reach my destination, anyway let’s speak about the place, small place, cozy, quick service response, pizza is exactly what u should get as an Italian pizza, I ordered pizza Mia which include most of my favorite ingredients such as bresaola and Parmesan and rucola with a drizzle of balsamic

We serves only specialty grade coffee with fresh milk and we have great fusion tea, chinese tea! To top it up we also serves light pastries such as sugar, cinnamon, chocolate donuts, cheese cakes, coconut macaroons and sandwiches.

Had a lunch here on the beach. Shared a plate of battered prawns, with fries and salad. Nice food, both had smoothies, which were delicious. Service slow though.
Didn’t try the evening food, but would have been happy to return, but hubby wanted to try somewhere else.

we ordered the kottu tuna--surprisingly good, different but just as tasty as its counterpart in Sri Lanka. The masala fish was delish, albeit a bit salty. The grilled fish was tiny but moist and tasty. Overall, a good dinner, and at a relatively good value (10% service charge not included). We paid in US dollar and was given the change in maldivian rufiyaa.
