Oh Carlos is predominantly a seafood restaurant, and they cook seafood very well!
Our host, who's English was amazing owing to his time in Glasgow, was fantastic. He was keen to recommend dishes and the clams to start followed by seafood rice sharer were great. The portion sizes were perfect and prices just right for what we received.
All the staff were very welcoming and all happy to help entertain our almost 2 year old. We were made to feel very welcome!
A must visit if you are in the area.

This was our 3rd year visiting- the food and service was excellent as always but the toilets were disgusting - in the past they were clean well looked after and smelt of bleach - this time ugh ! So horrible such a shame as I have been raving about this beach and it's amenities but now it's been spoilt by the toilets !

Really typical place trusted by locals because food is excellent and many different preparations are available.
Service is fast and efficient.
If you arrive at around 8pm be ready to wait a couple of minutes before a table is available but as turnover is important, it is never too long.
Easy parking on the municipal swimming pool Terrace just across the street.

The beach here is really nice with waves and nice sand. It is never to crowded, as it is a bit far away. The bar is nice, but the food could be better.

This is a well-hidden place that only locals know: a great Brazilian restaurant in Charneca de Caparica, well away (but not so much...) from the beach. We had the all-you-can-eat buffet, and an excellent rodizio (meat cooked on big swords and served directly on the plates), with some good wine as drink. The price was definitely affordable, around 20 euros each.

In the midle of nowhere, with surprise we find this restaurant with a very traditional menu which is prepared following the ancestral recepies. I've tried diferent dishes which were quite good. My suggestion goes to Migas. If you like this kind of food these are really good. Let the people advise you and try to meet the cook who is a gentleman .

It is a great option for a hot summer day. You seat almost on the sand of the beach! The food was good, but I think the hambuger was a little bit small. The service had been a little slow, maybe because the restaurant was crowded, but they were very friendly.

Rui, the owner and his wife serve you in a very familiar way. Nothing fancy but very good. Home made bread and apetisers and the best leitao (suckling pig) around. They also have other dishes for the ones that do not eat pork. Not diet food but sooooh good !
