The worst service I have ever received in my life.
As soon as the waitress brought my steak to the table I could smell that something was wrong.
I tasted the meat and it was inedible.
I asked the waitress if she could cook it a little more? (maybe it's that I thought).
It came back and somehow tasted even worse.
She asked me if it was ok now?
I told her it tasted strange and I apologised for putting her out, as she was making me feel like a 'difficult customer'.
She shrugged, said it was ok and left- with the stinking meat still standing on the table.
She left it there while my husband finished his meal.
I was left hungry and embarrassed.
She never offered me a second look at the menu, or asked if I would like anything else.
Needless to say we are disappointed and will not be going back.

Växbo krog has an interesting concept. Restaurant is furnished and decorated in a cool scandinavian style. Lightly coloured wood and locally. manufactured flax textiles. The staff uses flax blouses from the same manufacturer.
The menu varies over the year sccording to what is possible to get hold of. There is always a couple of fish, a couple of meat and a veg for mains. Starters can be a soup or a mixplate of pickled herring, salmon etc. Dessert is always yummy. Try the Hälsingeostkaka, a cheese reminiscent of Haloumicheese - traditionally served with berries. The food is well cooked. On occation it has been slightly salty and sometimes the chef is a bit too fond of cream and butter. but mainly, a good and interesting restaurant with excellent service. For children there is a special menu with the usual kids food - but burgers and pancakes are homemade, not industrial. After the meal I recommend a walk in the beatiful surroundings, including the flax textile factory.

A restaurant in a geeenhouse, and consequently a special athmosphere. The kitchen and menu has an organic tilt. Not too much to choose from but the food is very well cooked and tasty. Opening hours are very limited so not to be recommended for dinner but very good for lunch or a light snack.
I've been a patron of this restaurant since its inception so this is based on several visits.

After bandy, this place was perfect! Boyfriend had a pasta which he has quite often. I had a salad which was so delicious. A chicken salad - with so many flavours. Can't complain.

I have been going to this coffee shop for about 35 years. Great coffee, cakes and you can order a sandwichcake or a wedding cake or any other cakes and you can even get a picture on the cake. And it is not that expensive.

Absolutely amazing place. A barn which is converted to a Shabby chic shop on two levels. Also a Café with Lovely sandwiches and cakes. Lovely outside area with tables and chairs. You will find so many things inside...cups, pistesijaa, candleholders, furniture, toys...

Förvånansvärt öde för att vara en fredagskväll, men samtidigt verkar det känneteckna hela Bollnäs så jag vet inte vad jag ska tro.
De serverar bra svensk kinamat. Äter man det inte för ofta så kan det vara riktigt gott. Ikväll kände jag för svensk kinamat och blev helt nöjd med vad de serverade. Samtidigt så är det ju inte särskilt nära kinesisk mat som den ser ut i Kina, vilket på sitt sätt är lite tråkigt.
Damen som serverade var både trevlig och rolig, vilket ger lite extra plus.

En riktigt positiv överraskning när vi på genomresa stannade till för att äta. Suverän och personlig service och miljö. Riktigt god och vällagad mat med vettiga priser. Rekommenderas varmt

Mysigt och roligt att beställa in smårätter, de är inte så små. Tre smårätter är likvärdig en normal storlek på maträtt. De var goda också. Alla i sällskapet var nöjda.
