Berthierville (also called Berthier-en-haut, and legally called Berthier before 1942) is a town located between Montreal and Trois-Rivières on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. Berthierville is the seat of D'Autray Regional County Municipality, and is served by Autoroute 40, and is the junction of Routes 138 and 158. It is surrounded by the parish municipality of Sainte-Geneviève-de-Berthier.

Stopped here while biking through Berthierville. The server suggested the Table d'hôte, which included soup, main, dessert and coffee.
Excellent cabbage soup and fries with the hot hamburger. Overall, a very good meal for a great price. The only drawback is they aren't licenced so the hoped-for beer on this hot day had to be replaced by a root beer.

Definitely exceeded our expectations! The food was very fresh and tasty, the menu was quite varied, service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the combo no.2, starting with a very yummy Bangkok soup, a fresh Thai salad, two crispy springrolls, followed by a decent padthai then a tapioca dessert. My wife also enjoyed her noodles with tofu and peanut sauce.
Prices were a bit higher than we expected, but matched the quality of the food. We liked it so much that we went back only three days later, for some take-out. Highly recommended, we plan to go back for sure!

Stopped only for drinks. Beautiful Terrace on the Berthierville waterfront. They have a good choice of cocktails and beers for the size of the place. Nice spot to relax and enjoy the view. Did not order any food, but looked at the menu which is mostly fast food.

The only one steakhouse-like resto in town. A bit dated, poor ambiente, but very friendly waiters and great steaks (my ribsteak with grilled champignons, pepper sauce and a plate of salads, grilled vegetables and baked potatoes was really good), amazing tasty pasta, mellow sweets, good beer. We can recommend with pleasure.

I like A&W very much and especially their Root Beer and I stop in those restaurants when I travel. Monday February 15, at around 7pm, we stopped at that restaurant to take a break and eat something. We were travelling since 6am... People there were very nice. But the music was really loud and it was kind of pop music. Nothing against that music but may be not in a restaurant and definitively not loud. I asked if it was possible to have the music less loud and they sais it was not possible... Curious. All the sound systems I saw until now have a volume button.
So we eated our meal fast and leave. I will never go back there.
