Pondok Wina claimed to be the oldest restaurant with original recipe of ayam goreng (fried chicken) Blambangan. Since my childhood everytime we visit Banyuwangi, my parents took me here. They serve traditional Indonesian food. It's very comforting to have such a great food.

We came here because of our friends recommendation for Banyuwangi's local food. I'm a big fan of rawon, and i rarely find a good rawon place. We tried the basic one with extra salted eggs. The beef's are tasty and it came in a generous portion. Definitely would like to come back if we're in the area.

The specialty here is Rawon Pecel. The rawon itself is not as good as Rawon bik Ati which is just few minutes away, but still it's worth to try. Just note that they don't have any aircon room. Price is cheap but portion could have been bigger.

I always visit Depot Mitra in Banyuwangi. Their noodles and bakso goreng is the best! Don't forget to try the ice dessert as well.

Had some chinese food and grilled fish, their chinese food is better than the grill fish. There's a VIP room inside with karaoke machine for small function, approx. 30 pax.

Very spicy sambal.. grinded red chilies with a local tomato (ranti tomatoes) which a bit sour yet fresh.. The fried fish is so sweet..recommended!!

The food is cheap (from 15-25) and delicious, I ordered one dish firstly but then I really live it and ordered one more.
Restaurant owner is very nice and friendly as well, he took us around city by his car after the lunch (can't not believe that right?). Had a great time here.

Excellent food. A family run restaruant that all the locals know about but not the tourists. Our local guides brought us in the dark to an open room. Tables for approximately 20 people are right next to the kitchen. Our guides ordered for us and it was fantastic. We could have paid five times at the Ijen Resort for much less quality and quantity. This is truely an off the beaten path restaraunt but you will NOT be disappointed. A real winner for the adventurist traveler.

The food is generally nice, spicy and priced fairly reasonably. Many locals come here with their families so its not a tourist trap. The crab was fresh but the tasty sauce was a bit spicier than we expected. However our local friend found it "normal". This place is worth a try.

It really stands out in neatness and service from the other restaurants I found in Jajag. Don't miss it if you are in the area. We had a steak and a burger, they were really nice.
