Fantastic for families
Reviewed By LAIVBWe stayed at Dolphin Bay during the last long weekend, together with some other families from Bangkok. Even though basic, the rooms are clean and comfortable and because they're located around the pool, it is easy to keep an eye on the kids. Same with the restaurant. The staff is lovely and were very relaxed with all the families sitting together and keeping tabs on who ordered what. The children absolutely LOVE Dolphin Bay and want to go back asap. Which should be possible because the prices are super reasonable. The only issue is the fact that I couldn't book a taxi, even with 1 hour prior notice.. that was a slightly annoying end of our stay. Otherwise: 100% recommend.

Reviewed By heygautheyStayed here for two nights, not really knowing what to expect. But this place is wonderful. It's very quiet, not much to do within walking distance, but we loved it! The only thing separating the 'resort' with the beach is a small road, a small grass strip and a walking/biking path that goes all along the beach. They have a small-ish pool (that gets a bit warm) and some lounge chairs facing the ocean, there's also a decent size rooftop area, where you can go look at the ocean and the area around l'air du pran. The beach is very quiet, but not great for swimming (at least when we were there and for our taste) - still great to relax tho. The rooms are big, but still cozy with TV and couch (we stayed at the superior room), the mattress on the hard side, but still comfortable - but the metal frame is a bit squeeky. Breakfast is simple but good, toast, eggs, tea, coffee and they cook omelets etc for you. The staff is very friendly and helpful and attentive - they gave us a welcome drink and one day, when we were chilling at the pool, they brought all four of us a pineapple smoothie for free. There's bicycles that you can use for free, which is awesome, because there's that biking/walking path that goes all along the beach. We really enjoyed riding the bikes along the coast and to dinner/lunch. Food at l'air du pran is expensive, but there's a couple places along the beach that are decent and especially with the free bicycles you can easily get to good restaurants. Only negative is the cleanliness, there were a few hairs in the bathroom and shower and the mirror was fairly 'cloudy' - but other than that we have no complaints. We'll definitely consider this place when we need a quick beach getaway and want some peace & quiet.

Reviewed By Antoine LWould have been a good value for half the price we paid... Granted, it was during the high-season but still very pricey. Rooms are big, the A/C worked well and the garden is nice. "Breakfast included" is a joke but that's something you get used to when traveling in Thailand! Mosquitoes were hard to keep out of the room due to the sliding doors. Definitely request a room in the back of the property as the front, with the entrance and the restaurant is definitely noisy!

Reviewed By indranuhatiBooked for 1 night and we were the only guest. Very close to the starting point for phraya nakhon cave. The owner cooked us a very nice thai dinner. Went to the beach whicg is a 5 minute drive.Its unfortunate due to covid there are lots of cancellations. Highly recommend to stay here when visiting sam yot rai

Reviewed By Michael CFirst time to stay here though we have visited this region before, and were very happy with the facilities, the convenience of the location, and the welcoming and friendly hostess (owner). This little resort is some 300 meters walk/drive away from the main esplanade and beach of Dolphin Bay (Sam Roi Yod beach). It's surrounded by local farms and the like so it's peaceful, yet the beach, restaurants, etc. are within easy access. Onsite pool is a nice bonus and the well-maintained gardens add a relaxing feel. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Aircon, free WIFI, good sized fridge, more than adequate storage space and a functional bathroom were all greatly appreciated, as was the covered spacious outside terrace to our room. Perhaps a kettle in the room would be a positive addition. But that would be the only slightly negative thing we would have to say about this property. We were pleasantly surprised and happy that we ‘discovered’ it!

Reviewed By simpleeasyHansar pranburi is the best place to see the sunrise in the morning. The big round orange color of the sun seem it near you can see it from the room balcony. Location : Sam Roi Yot area, 10 mins drive from hotel to 7/11. Good fun coffee shop along the pak nam pran beach. Room is clean and spacious. Hansar bedding is unforgotten super comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Easy breakfast include in the morning eggs toast juice and coffee.

Nice village and easy to get to, easy parking and grounds to sit in. Got charged for ice! - service charge is added to bills (10%). Wifi weak - really needed to go to the restaurant for 50MB connection, mainly used 4G in the room. For a relax, sea air, sea views, nice food - it works, upgrading the rooms would make a huge difference for an excellent location local hotel

Just only 3 to 4 hours from Bangkok to Pranburi (Sam Roi Yot District // Prachuap ki ri khun province). Deluxe sea view on the second floor to birds eye view and Deluxe pool villas for jump to the pool. Many activities you can do at this place such as cannuing, swimming, walk though the beach, side seaing at the bay! Take 2 or 3 days to filled you energy for back to work! ❤️
