Reviewed By FionanssOne of the better, comprehensive and more convenient hotspring hotels in Liyang. The bedroom is clean and spacious and has a balcony with great view. The bathroom and buffet breakfast is average. You can purchase the hotel room with the hotspring entry tickets that allows multiple entries to the hotspring. There are different flavour hotsprings like red wine and rose hotspring and green tea hotspring. Compare to other hotsprings I have tried in different parts of China, the hotel and hotspring standard are considered to be slightly above average. However, if you are around Liyang, why not give it a try. Pls avoid visiting the hotspring during China holidays and school holidays. It's madness

Reviewed By futsanglungThe hotel was a bit of a let down, it could be so much better and maybe soon due to the refurbishments underway. The staff were efficient but the room was tired and dated and also smelled damp, in the entrance to the building our room was in were some newspapers for you to read, they were nearly two months out of date! Breakfast was average. Maybe if you get a refurbished room it will be better, it is a pity about our room as the setting was good and things could have been so much better.

Victim of its previously high standards
Reviewed By gryphonmonsterThis is my follow up review from my last visit at Apr 2017. Having had a super experience the last time round, i decided that we should return for our spring trip. However, we did not experience the kind of warmth that we felt previously. As usual, the concierge and front desk staff welcomed us dutifully. The hardware was more or less in the same condition as before. The 2 sinks and automated WC was great. Rain shower though was spraying all over the place. Beds were comfortable. Mosquito nets were available from preventing insects from flying in. The hotel, though, was hosting 2 conferences at this time and it felt like a market place after 5pm. We had dinner at the buffet restaurant. It was poor, i never recalled it to be that poor. For 188 RMB it was bad value for money. The skewers were cold and seemed undercooked. The salmon sashimi was low quality. The only positives were the dessert. We visited the japanese restaurant at Tongli Lakeview Hotel instead on the second day. It was a much better experience minus the crowd. The F&B staff were impeccable the previous visit. They even offered to wash our kid's cutlery. This time round, that did not seem welcome and they did not quite proactively engage. The restaurant at Phase 1 had staff that were not knowledgable in the food. We were given 1 voucher each for entertainment. This included 50 token at Naughty Bear, their arcade room, bumper car ride, carousel ride, VR game. We had 5 adults were couldn't finish them. And oh.. they also built a small animal enclosure at a corner with peacock, pig, rooster, goats and rabbits. Go early in the morning to feed them cabbage. In conclusion, the hardware remained good but it has lost what made it excellent which was to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

One of the emperors in Southern Dynasties called it “holy hot spring” and Chiang Kai-shek, a famous Chinese military and political leader of Kuomingtang, even took Tangshan as one of his favorite holiday resorts. Regalia Resort & Spa (Tangshan, Nanjing) is designed and decorated with Southeast Asian style. It is situated on a private mountain valley that is totally secluded to achieve maximum privacy. The hotel is close to Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, 30 minutes drive from Nanjing city and 2 hours drive from Shanghai City. Better way here from Shanghai is to take the high speed train to Nanjing Station first, and then take the shuttle bus.

Reviewed By DoriphoreThat's a very good place to relax and enjoy hot spring in the room. The room are big and easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. Wifi very slow. Breakfast doesn't have too many choices but good enough both Asian and Western. Many activities for kids ( horse riding, cooking class, bicycles, basketball) There is a room for drawing. A cinema. A room with a playstation, ping pong, mahjong. The restaurant menu is simple , just ok. Prices are good. That's really a nice place especially if you have kids. We didn't try the swimming pool as it is outside and the weather wasn't good. All staff were very friendly

Room need some upgrade but nice to have family room with a hottub just outside room for a cosy feeling. The TV is too small . Try the outdoor spring and go for morning hrs that is for hotel guest nice and cosy feel with dew people around. The check in and out of smooth. If go to any theme park do buy ticket for convenient and with a bit of promotion, sometimes, do check and compare.

disappointing for a luxury property
Reviewed By 309bernardtAlthough the room was spacious, there no bar service so if you are looking to relax after your work day, you will be disappointed. The staff did not speak English, so we had to look for sevral staff members before we could find someone that understood what we were looking for... That being said, the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner has a good variety.
