Interlaken is a must visit small resort town between two lakes - Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. There are many trekking, hiking and skiing trails. A walk or cycling along the lake is highly recommended. From the view point of sight seeing 1-2 days are more than sufficient if the idea is stay in the town only. Most of the activities are open in summer though. There is mountain (view point) Harder Kulm with a restaurant and a complete panoramic view of the town; it can be reached via a cable car. Lake cruise is a must that allows getting down on small islands on the itinerary.

This was absolutely delightful. We couldn't have had a better time,due to our incredible guide,Ulrich. He was very knowledgeable and respectful of our intentions. He made the long ride entertaining as well as educational. We would definitely use his service again. Our only issue was trying to reach your office by phone a couple of days before our trip to confirm and not being able to reach anyone. Excellent service. Here amazing help and support. Many thanks to Swiss Epic Tours. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks

This was our second ride on this train. decided to take a winter trip with all the snow as a backdrop with great views. Took the train from Tiefencastle to Brig via Chur. Take your camera for some great pictures. The carriages are very comfortable with plenty of space. You can walk to the restaurant car for a drink or receive table service.
