Just about one hour drive from the Voi Safari Lodge towards the Manyana Gate, there is a small turn off leading to Mudanda Rock. Shetani Lava Flows

Reviewed By WILDDOGSAFARI - Nairobi, Kenya

Have your guide drive you up the bush tracks as close as you can get to the volcano. It was a massive eruption when it happened as evidence of extensive lava flows are everywhere. That being said, game is scarcer in this area because of the difficulty of animals to walk over the lava. Heavy bush country surrounds the flows and you can spot some exceptional birds and bush dwellers.
