Unfortunate suggestion from a friend. The place is in the middle of nowhere, GPS didn't work and the many calls we made to get it right were tolerated at best. The restaurant is in a farmhouse, and it is an ok place tending mostly to big group. I have allergies to pepper and they assured me there was none. Not true: I was sick all night long. Appetizers just ok, pasta terrible. We stopped there. Wine average, only excellence is the oil. Not worth the trip.Our restaurant is a "Agriturismo" that means rural tourism. We are located in country and we are sorry if the GPS didn't work but it was not our fault. We know about this problem and for this reason you can find many sings in any corner to bring you in the right direction. The building is an ancient restored farmhouse. The aim is to rediscover the ancient traditions of life, first in kitchen and we pay attention for a high quality food and local products. In fact we choose many Slow Food products (Noto almond, Bronte pistachio, Nebrodi black pork, etc). We have more than 100 labels of local winery (Florio, Firriato and other renowned for their superlative taste).We are member of AIC, Italian association for celiac people, so we know how much important are food intolerances and allergies and for this reason our kitchen staff pay attention in everything they prepare.The pasta is prepared daily and fresh and you can choose from different sauce in with.We invite you to come again in order to taste again our dishes and change your mind.Sincerly the staff

Had a quick lunch while waiting to get the keys to our apartment, everything in the counter looked delicious. Eggplant parmiggiani to die for, great pizzas as well. A lot of locals were having lunch here too, which is always a good sign. Definitely recommended!
