We spend two nights at Pistoia and the first night we went to Luna Rossa. We just loved it! Pizzas and antipasti were delicious. The 'Dolci" were great and the young ladies who served the tables (sisters???) were so polite, fun and helped us choose from the menu, that we really enjoyed our dinner. The Pizzeria was full with people young and older who looked to enjoy there food. We had a great time and went again the next evening for our second dinner in Pistoia. Luna Rossa is one of the best places in Tuscany!!! Thanks again ladies!!!!

This place has a great atmosphere for a wonderful summer evening out. I recommend reservations as it filled up quickly and seems to be very popular with locals. Their menu was creative yet classic. It was not just pizza but a good choice of seafood or steak. Locals ordered the special of the day and pizza which looked great but I got risotto with lavender, prosecco and percorino, yummmy. I also got the tris di Tagliata. Melted in my mouth. I will be back. Rosemary and truffle, WOW! The service was very good but I think you cant be in a hurry. We were meeting some people and had to rush the ending which was a shame. The outside seating was so nice with the view of Serravalle and the nice breeze off the trees. It is right next to a pub and tennis club. We walked over from the hotel we were staying at. It is only accessible by car. I think this works as a family outing but also a romantic dinner because it wasn't very expensive and had a really nice atmosphere. Most importantly, the feed was great!

Upon reading trip advisor reviews we sought out dinner on our way home from a long day of touring. This restaurant is tucked in a local neighborhood away from the tour spots. The restaurant is casual and food was excellent and unbelievably reasonable in price! Though the owner and waitress didn't speak English very well or at all, we were able to communicate just fine. It's quaint and the food was perfect for our family of 5 (kids 13, 11, 8) thank you for a great family dining experience !Dear SirsThanks to your great family for your visit.We are very happy to know you have appreciated our food and our service.And we hope to see you again!Best regardsAmici di Malù

Staff are so friendly and food is excellent. Service can be a bit patchy when very busy, but the food and friendliness makes up for it. The antipasto starter with local meats and cheeses is a must have. Pizzas are also great. Would recommend.

I went to this place having googled "best pizza in montecatini', it did not disappoint. To be honest I love places like this, simple restaurants, little fuss, no huge menu or massive prices, just concentrating on what they do best, fantastic pizza. This place does proper Napoli pizza. Lovely buffalo mozzarella, fluffy crispy crusts, and a nice cold coke. Out of everywhere I ate during my stay in Montecatini this was the best. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is really a hidden jewel in montecatini. Well worth a short walk from the centre to dine here. The food was exceptionally good, we each had separate dishes and raved about each. The waiter couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and attentive. Great outdoor seating area with plenty of tables. Definitely recommend gatto blanco, in fact we returned here for our last night!

Lovely little place. Chose them based on fellow Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Located outside town centre with good parking, nice quiet garden and truly great service. Food was stunning and good choices available. Definitely recommended if you want a to eat genuine and away from main tourist destinations in Montecatini.

We had the chance to stay over the weekend at my parents vacation house and enjoyed having dinner several times at this excellent restaurant. try the mix of fried calamares with vegetables or the pizzas or penne agli scampi!book a table before as well attended by local people.

Rustic restaurant off the beaten path offering a variety of local specialties. Service was very attentive yet we were allowed to eat at a leisurely pace. English was spoken. Server helped explain choices on menu. Food was very good. This is an excellent choice for those seeking a non-touristy traditional restaurant. Location was easily accessible from Montecatini Alto, but diners should locate restaurant during day time hours in advance of trying to find it at night, if not familiar with area.

Great Tuscany restaurant, mostly famous for porcini mushrooms but other dishes are delicious too. We had fried mushrooms, homemade pasta and rice dishes, wild boar steak and an amazing, perfectly cooked fillet. All dishes above our expectations.We were here on a saturday dinner with a reservation and the place was full packed so a reservation is extremely recomanded.Friendly and welcoming staff. We also had some desserts, wine and coffees. The price is extremely reasonable, we spent ⬠36 pp.
