Visited them , we were seven seated. We ordered three pizzas , 01 burger and 03 steaks from the menus .The three pizzas arrived at the same time , nearly 05 minutes later the steaks and about 05 minutes later the one burger . Everyone was happy with their food . When one goes out for supper the aim is to enjoy all the food at the same time and together.The planning should have been better to ensure all get their food at the same time. I was much disappointed in my pizza , , their was not much crumbed fetta , I ordered extra mushrooms but could hardly find them . With pricing at this establishment being what they are there should be no need to be skimpy.Don't think I will visit them again if the choice depends on me

This restaurant was superb, both for food and professional service. The menu provided variety for out party of 4 adults (1 vegetarian) and 2 teenagers. Two of us ordered the evening special, one chicken dish and the other a ribeye on the bone. There was also a very nice wine selection and a very nice dessert menu. 5 stars to the chef and the staff for a very memorable first visit! Parking is validated which is a nice advantage too!

Unusually, Francoâs doesnât charge corkage on the first bottle of wine you bring. Isnât that nice! This cosy restaurant has good food at plain prices, a lovely homely atmosphere, no pretentions and pleasant, ordinary, unfussy South African service. Nothing special, just a hearty enjoyable meal in lovely company at a reasonable price. What more could you want.

Tasty breakfast very well prepared, excellent service, good coffee (will ask for extra large cup next time). Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended- but be sure to get there early. It is a smallish venue, and popular. Creamy mushrooms - to die for!

Good service and the food is excellent. We had fillet steaks and without a doubt better than both Dros or Spur. Kids could prepare their own pizzas which they thoroughly enjoyed. Playground for kids the best. Good portions of food and the whole family enjoyed Pappachinos

We booked ahead and arrived to no table ready, they had to quickly put two tables together for us. Not set, just plain cold granite.Service was fast, and friendly but meal was cold and tasteless.Ambience was cold and quiet.What a pity, used to be great when it was the Dros.Wonât be back.

I love the dispensers that dispense wine and other drinks. We all ordered gin and tonics and got them in a dispenser with all the garnish, though I would have preferred my own double with sugar free tonic!We all ordered half portions, because the portions were just too big. Less is more sometimes. We were still charged full price for the dishes. The room where we were eating was very dingy and quite depressingI liked the cheese being grated on our pasta at the table, though question if it was real parmesan, as the texture and flavour were not of parmesan as I know it.Good evening, thank you for your detailed review. The Gin tower's are only made on order by the customer, which choose their favourite Gin and their tonic preference,was the tower perhaps ordered by another guest at the table, as we would have served all the Gin's individually as per order with a sugar free tonic.Regarding the charge of full portions, i would like to look in to this, please would you be so kind to email me that bill,as only the management can place the order and over ride the system to order half portions. Went here for a meal with my wife and it was such a great experience. It was a Sunday afternoon and we we decided to return to this restaurant after have a good meal here a few months ago. Our waitress was top notch. She was attentive but not obtrusive. Our starters and meals were perfect. We had the calamari starter which is one of the best I have had. The buffalo mozzarella pizza is also really good (but we did wonder if it was real buffalo mozzarella)The Florentine steak is also a winner and I would recommend it to any meat lover.
