We have been to this restaurant for a dinner during August. the restaurant located in the central street of Pievepelago was completely full with a mix of customers of all ages.Many young people, families, old couples. The atmosphere was very nice, noise was very low and we had a very pleasent dinner. Notwithstanding the crowd the service was quick efficient and smiling. Food was excellent modenese mountain style with high quality prodcts and right cooking. We enjoied tortelloni and dear. Price was surprisingly on the low side for the area ( less than 20 euro per person ) . A place to recommend ti all my friends.

This hilltop village, Casoli, is absolutely stunning. Go for a walk through it (go down right-hand side of the main church - to lovely hillside farm) before heading back to the restaurant for dinner/lunch. Sitting outside under the shade of trees and the overhanging lanterns are further perfected by the backdrop of Tuscan houses and hills! Just loved the atmosphere and environment. Been back twice in three weeks! Large menu selection - ravioli is my favourite! Their antipasto is scrumptious. Super friendly service. All in all an experience for all your senses.

Dear Raffaele. We thank you for the hospitality. We enjoyed the meal. Pizza antipasti and tortellini were excellent. The atmosphere is in perfect Italian style.

Good finding in the Abetone place. We had polenta and porcini; a plate of mixed salami and ham and 1 pizza. As dessert cream with blueberries locally collected. Very special.

Someone recommend this restaurant and we were very disappointed. The food was made with poor ingredients, wasn't fresh, some of it was clearly heated in the microwave and nothing tasted particularly good. The service was unpleasant; for example when we asked to give us a detailed bill in order to split the bill, the waitress handed us a menu saying we could total up our order ourselves. They also brought our second plates out before we were done eating our pasta. The food was even overpriced considering quality and portion size.

Two adults and one child, two risottos (probably made with beef cube) tortellini (ok) - then miniscule fillets - more similar to used walking shoe soles, but much smaller. Fries and porcini deep fried in very old and close to rancid oil of unknown origin. Two small beers and 1 water - total costs 87 Euros. The just don't want tourists in Abetone....

Great dining experience. Excellent view of Mt. Cimone. Had their fresh home made Tagliatelle with mushroom outstanding.Not a large wine list selection, however moderately price. Very clean restaurant with excellent service.

We went here last night with a large group of friends that included a bunch of teenagers who chose this spot. As an American living in Italy, I'm a bit leery of Italians making burgers, as their attempts are usually pretty bad. The others said the burgers were good, and since I miss good burgers, I said a prayer and ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Not bad!! The Italians will never get down the proper bun for a burger, but that said, it was totally acceptable. Meat was great as were the fries. I tried the pizza and was really tasty as well. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

In questo periodo potremmo definirli sfortunati perché é chiuso il ponte che li collega allâAbetone...ma si sono attrezzati e vi vengono incontro con la macchina al di là del ponte percorribile solo a piedi. I proprietari sono simpatici, disponibili e competenti, il cibo é classico, buono il crostone ai funghi e le pappardelle. Conto onesto
