The largest city in China is also its most cosmopolitan, offering visitors a chance to experience the past, present, and future all at once. The Huangpu River splits Shanghai into two districts: Pudong and Puxi. The Pudong skyline looks like it was ripped from the Jetsons, with the bulbous Oriental Pearl TV and Radio Tower looking a bit like a two headed lollipop. On the Puxi side, you can walk the Bund riverside district to get a taste of old Shanghai.

Lily was a wonderful tour guide! I had been to the Terra Cotta Warriors site before, but I didn't realize how much I didn't know until Lily showed us around. She was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and she catered to our wishes. She even suggested the perfect restaurant for lunch afterwards and introduced us to a variety of teas that we sampled (before purchasing, of course :) Lily was patient with us (there were three of us in our little group and we each went at different paces) and she was easy to spend time with. We never felt rushed. She also knew a few shortcuts, for example, taking the tram to the site, which saved us time and energy. I highly recommend Travel China Guide, their star tour guide, Lily and the expert driver!

Definitely the highlight of our stay in Shanghai. We were taken to different sites by comfortable vans. My husband did this tour on a previous business trip to Shanghai and was so impressed that he did it for the second time with me.

This was the best experience. I booked a private tour for the end of a long work week before our flights. We saw all the off the beaten path sites. Our guides were amazing and took great care to explain all that we were seeing and kept everyone in the group engaged.

Zhujiajiao, known as the "Venice of Shanghai", with a history of more than 1,700 years. Endowed with another elegant name - 'Pearl Stream' - the small town is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai. Unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards attached all transport people who have been living amidst the bustle and hustle of the modern big city to a brand-new world full of antiquity, leisure and tranquility. Cruising on the Huangpu River is the best way to appreciate shanghai dramatic and splendid night views, it has become a must for most visitors to Shanghai.

Our mini tour was a memorable experience. Despite the cold weather, our driver and tour guide made sure we were all taken cared of. We were dropped off and picked up conveniently at spots where the rain wasn't too troublesome. Our tour guide, Daniel Shao, handled and executed the tour flawlessly, even customizing the tour to accommodate our minor requests. Also, he took care of our communication problem via phone with other merchants even after the tour. We had a great time and it was worth all the rain pounding on us. The history, places, people, food and mood were just perfect.

Although they are a little more expensive ,the service is very good and we hope to use them again to plan another holiday soon.
