If you are in Terceira and like a bit of adventure and enjoy off the beaten track activities I highly recommend you to do this tour with Juca. Juca is very knowledgable of the hidden gems on the island and passionate about his work. Also, he makes sure you are safe while visiting the caves. Last but not least, he is passionate about photography and thus, he will take take some really nice shots of you. This was one of the best tours have done so far!

As I was spending a day solo in Lisbon, I wanted to take advantage of a private tour through Lisbon to learn more about the city while improving on my skills as an amateur photographer. I did an early morning tour with Miguel who is a great guide. We started our trip at one of the viewpoints to catch the first morning light and I learned about the advantage of using a tripod to get sharper shots, and then leisurely strolled through the old city. He knew all the nice spots to take a photo and I even got a really really cool photo from the famous yellow tram no. 28 :) But not only did he show me the nice places to take a picture of, he also told me a lot about how to use my camera settings better, about light, angles, aperture and shutter speed. After explaining, he made me try out the different settings and angles to actually experience the difference myself ... In short, he shared so much of his knowledge it was amazing. And all very understandable for me as an amateur. Also, and this was a really special experience: I saw an old lady at a window in one of the small alleyways. And I thought: Oh, what a wonderful photo that would be. And Miguel said: Go, ask her. I felt too shy but he insisted and finally I went to ask her. She was lovely, was happy to be photographed, told us that she was a bit famous because people always see her at her window and told us some more funny stories about her life. And I got the wonderful photo I so much wanted :))) I can fully recommend this tour to anyone who is keen to experience the city through his/her lens and to learn from someone who really knows what he's talking about and is super friendly. If solo or as a group, I believe you'll have a really good time with Miguel as your guide.

If you are looking for a creative way to explore the hidden and well known beauties of Lisboa, Carlos and his journey through photographs is a fantastic option. He was knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and painted the city perfectly. Not only did he provide information about the locations but the spots he directed us to were breathtaking. This was perfect for our own photographic journey.

At the end of the tour we visit the tea plantations. In the traditional walls of the tea factory you will taste the local tea and you will learn more about the tea production.

This tour was the best thing we could have done on our trip. Josef answered the phone himself when I called and we were so happy he was available to take us on a tour. There were six of us and we were so comfortable in his clean Mercedes Touring van. He was an expert driver (a must on these narrow, steep roads) and was so knowledgeable about everything we asked about on the island. I seriously cannot say enough good things about him. We never would have been able to see everything we saw today without him. If you only have a short amount of time to see all the amazing sights and vistas, hire him immediately. The experience he gave us today was priceless. He also will accommodate everything you ask for. He can do it all!! We wanted to have a local lunch and he found the most magical place for us where only the locals were. It was an amazing buffet lunch and nothing has ever tasted better in my life. We wanted to go to the lakes, the thermal pools and the ocean and he took us to all of them and MORE! We also got taken to the beach to an amazing little place called Tuka Tula where everyone knew him and was teasing him and we had lovely drinks. We never would have found this place without him, or been treated so well. We tried all the local Azores liquors at the Mulher de Capote, and soaked in the in the warm waters of the Termas de Ferraria (AMAZING!!!). He is also very funny and has a great sense of humor and was very entertaining. I would give it 50 stars if I could.

The whole experience was super cool! We were able to see soo many dolphins, three different types, and we also saw a blue whale (!!!) a bit far. I was happy that there was no radar on the boat to find the animals as these usually just confuse them underwater. The girl on the boat explained everything really well and gave us interesting facts about both the dolphins and whales and the boat driver was nice as well. We arrived pretty late and forgot to get cash so everyone had to wait for us to get it, but the staff was really nice and waited patiently. I totally recommend OceanEmotion if you want to see whales and dolphins! :)

What a great winter morning on the Atlantic Ocean! A crystal clear sky and blue water like it‘s photoshopped. We absolutely enjoyed being in the pure nature, the great team with good insights about the animals living in or on the water - and of course the beautiful dolphin family we spotted. A childhood dream became true!
