So close to downtown Toronto yet you feel like you are miles away. So tranquil and and easy walk through fields, grasses, meadows and over bridges.

We love this zoo and walk through often to enjoy the large animals and the varied offering of viewings. There are nice descriptions at each habitat of the animals, the pens are kept tidy and the animals seem to be humanely treated. The famous capybaras are there to be seen, hello Bonnie and Clyde!! This is a very nice walk where you can stop to see the animals, enjoy the shade or sunshine, and even bring your own lunch to enjoy at a picnic table. There aren't a lot of free zoos and this one is worth the visit. Make sure to donate!
