On a dark, wet winters day (+1C) called in here on a recommendation from a local. Had the place to ourselves, 2adults 2 kids. Phenomenon thought and designed went into this community owned asset (council), only wish my own country had as much pride in designing publicly owned buildings. Kids had their first ever sauna and steam and loved the electronic timer on the slide (that I won!). We all jumped in the cold pool too. Opening times aren’t normal times so check before visiting.

Active Geiranger

Active Geiranger would provide you with great adventures on the Geirangerfjord such as guided kayak trips, kayak rental, motor boat rental, fishing trips and boat taxi to the fjord farms.Great location for fjord activities in Geiranger since we are two kilometers away from the centre of Geiranger which can be busy. Welcome us us and have fun!

Good folks at activegeiranger accommodated us even though we reached after their regular hours without prior booking (we got blocked on our way due to mountain explosion). It was just two of us for a group tour and yet, birthday boy, Roger, guided us on the #kayak and gave us a lot of interesting information about #Geiranger and the mountains surrounding it which made the whole experience amazing. Roger was fun, energetic and a pretty good photographer (he has taken the below pictures) We took guided tour and kayaked for 3 hrs to see the seven sisters falls on a 250+ mts deep #fjord with an active cruise route (#kayaking on those #cruise #waves was thrilling). My bum went numb by end of 3hrs but that could be because we did 3 days of hike before coming here. Other than that this is great kayak experience, and #activegeiranger folks are just amazing. I definitely recommend this
