Sai Kung

Sai Kung is a small fishing village with picturesque boats, beaches and mountain scenery. The fresh seafood is plentiful and there are many dining options and wine bars along the seaside promenade. A day at the beach here makes for a nice change of pace from Hong Kong.

This area has everything and is very close to the Macau Ferry Terminal. Our hotel was a 2 min walk from the Sheung Wan subway station which made this an ideal area to call home for 3 nights.

The place is safe, fun, amazing. You can get 10 shots for $20 US dollars! Hard Rock Cafe is in the center and is a great place to chill. The cops are cool and no issues what so ever. You can buy your drinks at 7 Eleven and walk around. Open until 6am.. Beware: Taxi drivers will try to screw you on cab fares. Only pay what the law requires, if they don’t comply, tell them you’ll call the local authorities.

I have to rate you as excellent Nathan Road because, if someone wants to say that they know just a little bit about Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) Kowloon, Hong Kong, China, then they MUST have a working knowledge of you Nathan Road. Busy and frantic, traffic constantly, alive at night, blocked off on holidays like New Year's Eve, you do ROCK and you do ROLL. A do-not-miss sight on you Nathan Road is the Chung King Mansion building across from Peking Road at the major entrance to the MTR's Tsim Sha Tsui entrance at iSQUARE.

Knutsford Terrace

Reviewed By thedealhunter - Discovery Bay, China

One of my favourite places in Hong Kong. Has a vibe all it’s own, devoid of the cliche and sleaze of the Wan Chai strip, and the all night party atmosphere of LKF. Casual, cozy (especially in the winter), plenty of food options. A hidden gem! Each bar has unique happy hour deals, be sure to check them out! People who complain about it being dirty are probably not used to outdoor casual bar type venues, and would probably be more at home at Ozone or Armani with five star service and decor, but also drinks that cost three to four times as much.

Wan Chai

Located between Admiralty and Causeway Bay, Wan Chai has so much to offer visitors, well connected to public transport, hidden gems lay around corners and up the hills, Wan Chai is a delightful neighbourhood to stay and explore. We loved mixing with the locals at Wan Chai Park Community Garden, getting fitter on the Bowen Road Fitness Trail and Wan Chai Gap Road, climbing up to Lover's Rock, exploring Stone Nullah Lane to see the beautiful UNESCO heritage listed Blue House Cluster and Pak Tai Temple, and easily catching a bus up to Victoria Peak. Not to mention stunning Thai food at Samsen, discovering Mammy Pancakes and returning to DimDimSum for dumplings and beer.
