Apart from the fact that everything closes at five? The Islands are beautiful and offer stunning views of the Toronto Skyline, the ferries run till midnight and it’s a cheap return fayre, well worth a visit, just pack a picnic if going to be staying to watch sunset!!

This place is awesome....so much to see and explore....despite the many different species and types of fish you don't feel overwhelmed or claustrophobic....I loved every minute of it...its easy and simple to make your way through and the shark tank treadmill section is totally awesome and worth every penny....I could spend all day there its a great place and will keep the kids engaged from start to finish....will definitely go again and have recommended this place to many people...thanks for a great day Ripley's

Once the ferry arrived, I made my way to the beach. It wasn’t too long of a hike. Since the weather was nice, plenty of people had flocked to Hanlon Point. When you’re walking down the foot path, you’ll notice signs indication that it’s a clothing optional beach. To left is where sunbathers choose to go topless or nude. To the right is the traditional swimsuit side. During this particular visit, I choose to do the clothing optional side. For me, it was sort of a when in Rome kind of thing. The beach itself was very nice and kept up. Walking around the island is very relaxing and much slower paced compared to the hustle of Toronto. You could easily spend all day here

Fun to see trains and round house and kids enjoying it all. Can not go inside the cars, but it is free and you can climb onto the cars and engines. Also it is FREE so no need to pay for a tour. Did not do the indoor museum, but did walk through some of the old round house bays from the whistle stop pub.
