Reviewed By 24paudThis Motel is on a busy 4 lane road; we experienced road noise to the early hours of the morning, sleep was difficult. Parts of the apartment were modern but the carpet was dirty, the heating poor and lighting dim; the towels had exceeded their Expiry Date. I would not stay here again.

Brendan & Tina are such lovely people & their friendly welcoming way help settle the stress you feel when your visit is for medical reasons. The one bed unit was spacious & sleep was blissful. Cleanliness is clearly a priority & their high standard was very appreciated by us. The lounge area to watch tele feels like home away from home. Little wonder we are becoming regulars & due back in a few weeks. Thanks so much guys!.

Very Disappointing
Reviewed By Greer-AtkinsBooked online economy 1 bedroom, ended up with a two bedroom. All though the room a relatively clean it was dark and dingy in-fact for $169 it was well blow what was expected. You should if able, physically Check the room before you confirm if possible. I would not recommend the room we had 808 I am sure there are nicer rooms but not this one. Very dated. Very disappointing.

Certain rooms feature a jetted tub where you can relax. University of Canterbury merely few minutes walking distance away. AMI Stadium is 2.5 km from 311 Motel Riccarton, 3 km from Christchurch Botanic Gardens, while Hagley Park is 3.3 km from the property. Christchurch International Airport is 6 km away. Upper Riccarton is a great choice for travellers interested in shopping, food and scenery. We speak your language!

Reviewed By lynn eMy Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights very friendly staff the bed was so comfortable. There was everything in the motel we needed. My sister arrived in Christchurch and they had a motel available which she was able to get as well which was great .

Whether you are passing through or spending time in the Village and surrounds, we want your stay with us to be relaxing and refreshing. All of our units are spacious, each with a sunny veranda and a lovely garden view. Only a 5 minute stroll to all that the Village has on offer - the Thermal Pools, cafes and great restaurants. Our complex is comprised of 4 one-bedroom units, 2 two-bedroom units and 3 studio units, all of which are serviced daily. We have free Wi-Fi and free towels for use at the thermal pools.

The location is great with only a few minutes walking distance to the pools and shops/restaurants. The host was very kind en helpful (thank you Katie :) ) I would certainly recommend and book again.

Reviewed By gertiefriendGreat place to stay. Staff super friendly and helpful though was asked if I wanted my unit serviced or not - felt put in the spot. No movie channel and wifi limited to a ridiculous amount - not enough to even watch a family movie. The units were roomy, had a nice fireplace. Bit rundown but tidy. Playground really not great.
