Great location, fantastic staff and delicious food - could not recommend high enough! Definitely one of the better restaurants in the town and a great view of the Cathedral as well as the sea! We were so thankful to go to Salvino's as part of our trip. We ate in a few different places, but none were as good as Salvino's, by far. The keyword here is fresh. They strive to cook only with fresh ingredients and this you can absolutely taste on their meals. For example, even the fried calamari was one of the best we ever had in our lives, which is a dish you can't tweak in too many ways.For the main course, we had the daily special, which was also absolutely delicious.When looking at the service, it was very friendly and easygoing. We really appreciated the more laid-back style, while being fully focused on covering all of our needs.The decoration is the only element which is a bit more simple/classic (nothing extra), but meh, with everything else you get, this is absolutely no problem. Especially since the restaurant is in a prime location already.So don't be one of the many people that got sent away while trying to get a table - reserve a place, come and enjoy :)

The staff were very accommodating, taking a large group of us with very little warning. Each dish was incredibly tasty and there was barely any waiting time. The atmosphere was so friendly and the waiters went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy! Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We were served delicious food by well mannered staff in a perfectly set terrace with live singing. Adding to this there is ample parking for diners. Absolutely amazing food one of the best restaurants in St Julian'sThe food is superb the menu has a good selection of fish and meat to choose from.The starters have a great selection and I had the salmon ravioli which was the fi est ravioli I've tasted in years. I would highly recommend it.For my main I had an Irish beef fillet which was so tasty and cooked perfectly. Food, service were outstanding. Small, intimate and charming atmosphere. Chef personally visits each table to make certain food is prepared consistent with dietary restrictions and requests. Service is prompt. Portions are appropriate. Fish is clearly fresh daily. We wanted salads to start and chef accommodated.Overall experience was excellent. This restaurant was head and shoulders above the other seven we tried on our vacation in Malta. It deserves to be Number One. We tried to return but it was sold out the final four nights we were in Malta.

Popped into this restaurant as it looked lovely from the street. So glad we did. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and cooked to order which makes things a little slower. It was worth waiting for. Wow, just wow. You are set skyward in this magnificent restaurant overlooking the beautiful Malta city. Stunning views. Food was inventive and delicious. Our group of 14 raved about it. Staff were amazing and had a good sense of humour. Highly recommend for birthdays, anniversaries, proposal or just as a unique experience.

Another big e for excellent for both food and service. Little wonder that it was fully booked on the night of our visit and as many people without a booking were turned away as the number in the restaurant. Not the biggest of menus but this was definitely a case of quality over quantity.
