We stayed 5 nights at the Due Mari and had 4 meals there which were fine, but decided to switch things up by going to Al Mulino. We wound up eating our last 2 dinners in Tiriolo here. Great decor inside, like being in someone's home. Great food! The ricotta appetizer with pepper jelly sauce was simple, yet amazing! Excellent Calabrian choices on menu and prices quite reasonable. We travelled for nearly 3 weeks in Italy visiting Rome, Naples and Calabria and felt that best value and food was by far in Calabria!

Strictly meat. All types and delicious. The couple that run this place do so efficiently and make you most welcome when you come again. It's neither cheap nor expensive and you can sit inside or out in the open air passage.Park by the promenade and walk back in three minutes; it's a busy street. If you like good Italian ice-cream there's a charming elderly couple that know their trade just across the street on the corner.

We came here every chance we had, because they make the best food possible!!! I am vegetarian and they gladly made non vegetarian pasta without meat. Friends eating meat and fish were also without words :) We even wrote down some recipies from the meniu. It was most totaly the best food I have eaten in my life!! Try tagliolini with pistacio and lemon â¤ï¸ No matter how full you are take a desert, because they are magnificient! The staff is amazing, very caring and friendly :) if you are in Catanzaro this is a must to go

I've been told by a friend who recently been to Agriturismo LA Stalla that if I was going in holiday to Calabria I had to go to eat in this place. Well let me tell you indeed my friend was more than right. I went yesterday and with me I took my mother and nephew. I was shocked by the decoration of the place and atmosphere, the welcome from the staff which made us choose the seats. Not to mention I never knew the owner was part of the staff. Anyways there was so much on the menu to choose from. That I've asked the owner to bring us a bit of everything to try . Oh my god let me tell you. I was amazed by the flavours and moisture of the meats not to mention the presentation of the plates. They don't rush you to leave the place although was packed and people waiting instead you could eat without pressure which these days is rare to find. I ate everything that was put on the table.There was food which I did not even know what it was but it was explained to me when each plate was presented to the table. I arrived in Calabria yesterday morning and I went there yesterday evening. I have already organized a party for next week Tuesday with friends and family to go there and celebrate my nephew birthday which I think that we will enjoy more rather than go to eat a Pizza. So I am so grateful to my friend that recomended me this place which anyhow I will return with more than pleasure.

Traveling from Catanzaro Lido back to Lamezia Terme, I've tracked down this restaurant through TripAdvisor. Even though reported as open, they appeared to be closed (Monday evening).With my best efforts to talk Italian and using Google Translate, I had a fun conversation with the owner. He decided to ready a table for me and serve me dinner anyway! I had a vegetarian meal, which was delicious! His wife and children are very kind and made me feel very welcome.When I finished my dinner, I wanted to pay with my credit card. However the machines were already closed down so I could only pay with cash. As I only had 5 euro left in my wallet, this was what I could pay. The owner told me it was no problem at all. Wow!If you're around, make sure you pay them a visit for a great meal. I will most certainly do so myself!Grazie di cuore x le belle parole un abbraccio.

Una splendida scoperta nel cuore del quartiere Strató alle porte del centro storico di Catanzaro. Menù a base di pesce con accostamenti molto azzeccati. Locale piccolo con pochi tavoli. Tutto molto buono, dal pane alle proposte di vino. Consigliatissimo!

We ate at In Vino Veritas with friends and for 20⬠wevve been served something like 10 different dishes as appetisers that in Clabaria is like a wedding dinner, two main courses (1 risotto, 1 pasta, 1 course of meat, pie, water, wine, coffee and Amaro liquor to finish our lucullan meal! The staff is nice, the place is nice, only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the place is very small and so your clothes would tats of fumes fro the kitchen. I strongly advice eating at in Vino Veritas!

We had a mid-week family lunch here, and were treated to a most wonderful 2 hours of hospitality and culinary delight. Antonio gave us a warm welcome, and spent some time discussing the menu, given the ranges of tastes across the family this meant 3 of us had the Menu degustazione ( a wonderful choice and all 3 truly enjoyed the 5 or 6 courses), the other 2 children were easily catered for by Antonio who was more than happy to cook off menu (steamed veg and fish fillet, which she enjoyed choosing from a small but very fresh whole fish selection tray, alongside a pasta dish and shellfish for the other). It is very rare a venue gets the thumbs up from all 5 of us, well done Antonio and team, we look forward to coming back. It is a little out of the way but well worth the effort in finding.....

Un bel locale davanti al mare, elegante, arioso e spazioso. Una cucina raffinata con qualche attenzione verso le tradizioni enogastronomiche locali(Ottimo il morsello di baccalà e la varietà di pane).Un servizio puntuale e cortese. Un'ottima la cantina. Da ritornare al più presto.
